How It Works (Technical Overview)
The indicator performs the following calculations on every tick (efficiently, only when a new bar forms for most logic):
- Builds a linear regression channel over the user-defined period on the current chart timeframe.
- Scores each enabled higher timeframe using the six weighted features.
- Computes a weighted aggregate bias (higher TFs have more influence).
- Draws the regression channel (optional fill, midline, bands) and forecast projection.

Recommended Usage & Settings

Recommended Timeframes:
- M5 / M15 for scalping and intraday entries (with M15–D1 multi-TF scoring enabled).
- H1 / H4 for swing trading.
- D1 for position trading (focus on aggregate bias).
Default Settings are well-optimized for most markets, but here are suggested adjustments:
- Linear Regression Period (50): Increase to 100–150 on higher timeframes for smoother channels; decrease to 30–40 for very fast markets.
- StdDev Multiplier (2): Use 1.5 for tighter channels or 2.5–3 for wider volatility capture.
- Momentum Bars (10), Pattern Bars (5), Volume Bars (20): These work well as defaults; adjust slightly based on asset volatility.
- Enable Scans: Turn on all TFs (M15–D1) for the most complete picture. Disable higher TFs if you trade only very short-term.
- Show Channel / Midline / Forecast: Enable for visual context; disable if you prefer a minimal chart.
- Alerts: Enable for hands-off monitoring of bias changes.
- Dashboard Position: Adjust X/Y coordinates if it overlaps with other panels.
Trading Approach Examples:
- Trend-Following: Enter in the direction of the Total Bias when it is ≥ +35 (bullish) or ≤ -35 (bearish), preferably with channel slope confirmation and positive forecast arrow.
- Counter-Trend Caution: When bias is near neutral (-10 to +10), exercise caution or look for mean-reversion setups inside the regression channel.
- Multi-TF Confirmation: Only take signals when lower and higher timeframe scores align in direction and strength.
- Exit / Trailing: Use the regression midline or opposite bias flip as dynamic exit levels.
