📐 HOW IT WORKS
The activation line adapts to volatility using ATR:
1. Calculates ATR over the specified period
2. Tracks price momentum and direction
3. Moves toward price in small ATR-weighted steps
4. Jumps to a new level on strong reversals
5. Changes color when price crosses the line
When price crosses above the line:
→ Line turns GREEN
→ UP arrow appears
→ Bullish trend confirmed
When price crosses below the line:
→ Line turns RED
→ DOWN arrow appears
→ Bearish trend confirmed
⚙️ PARAMETERS
📊 GLA Settings:
• GLA Length (default: 100) — ATR period and trend calculation
• ATR Multiplier (default: 5.0) — Distance of activation line
• Price Source (default: Close) — Which price to track
🎨 Display Settings:
• Show Arrows (default: true) — Toggle signal arrows
• Arrow Size (1-5) — Size of signal arrows
• Line Width (1-5) — Thickness of activation line
🎯 HOW TO USE
Trend Following:
• Green line = look for buy setups
• Red line = look for sell setups
• Ignore signals against the line color
Entry Signals:
• UP arrow = potential long entry
• DOWN arrow = potential short entry
• Combine with your own SL/TP strategy
Filter:
• Use as trend filter for other strategies
• Only take trades in direction of line color
• Skip trades when line is flat/choppy
