VPPD:Your "X-ray" for the chart. In simple words about the complex
Imagine that the market is a large building. Ordinary charts show you only its facade (the price). **VPPD** is a tool that shows you the drawings of the load-bearing structures and calculates how many people came in through the front door and how many came out through the back.
This is an indicator for MetaTrader 4 that shows where the money of major players is actually located and who is currently driving the market: buyers or sellers.
What is the essence of the work (the "Auction" principle)?
The market works like an auction. The price moves up and down to find a balance where sellers are willing to sell and buyers are willing to buy the maximum amount of product.
VPPD looks at the history and answers the question: **"At what price did traders make the most trades in the past period (hour, day, week)?"**
1. **Data collection:** The indicator takes the period you choose (for example, today).
2. **Floor analysis:**** He looks at how many trades (volumes) were made at each price level.
3. **Conclusion:** The most popular level, where traders traded the most, he highlights with a bold line. This is the **POC (Point of Control)** - the "center of attraction" of the price.
But the main feature of VPPD is not just in the calculation, but in the fact that he **distinguishes who exactly pushed the price**.

Regular volume indicators just show the total number of trades. VPPD tries to understand inside each candle:

The indicator draws a zone where 70% of all money has passed (Value Area). This is the market's comfort zone.
* **VAH/VAL boundaries:** If the price goes far up from the upper limit, the market is "overheated" and it's time to look for sales. If the price goes down, the market is "oversold" and it's time to buy.
* **HVN (High Volume):** Shows strong support and resistance levels. Like concrete floors in a building, the price stumbles over them.
* **LVN (Low Volume):** Shows "holes" in liquidity. If the price enters these areas, it moves quickly and without stops, like on an empty road.
3. Ready-made trading signals (8 patterns)
You don't need to be a math professor. VPPD itself evaluates the position of the main level (POC) inside the candle and the color of the delta to provide a clear signal:
* **Push pattern:** POC at the bottom of the candle and a green delta - buyers are accelerating, you can enter a trade on the trend.
* **Restraining pattern:** The price is rising, but the POC is at the bottom and the delta is red - sellers are quietly gaining a position, a reversal down is soon.
* **Breakout pattern:** The price has shot up, but the delta is red (sellers are taking profit) - wait for a pullback.
4. Simplicity and Convenience
You don't need to keep a bunch of rules in your head. The indicator can be configured to:
* Show the volume histogram directly on the chart (horizontal bars).
* Draw arrows when a good pattern is found.
