Pin Bar Pro Confirmation Marker is a professional price-action overlay designed for traders who use pin bars as a rejection/confirmation element within a broader market context.
The indicator applies a rule-based definition (minimum candle range, body-to-range constraint, dominant shadow requirement, and relative placement versus the prior candle). When a valid pin bar is detected on the most recently completed candle, the indicator also plots a directional arrow on the next candle open to support timing and structured chart review.
This product is a visual decision-support tool for discretionary trading. It does not open, manage, or close trades.
Features
-
Marks bullish and bearish pin bar style rejection candles directly on the chart
-
Plots a confirmation-style directional arrow on the next candle open after a valid pattern
-
Configurable pattern strictness via four inputs (range, body ratio, relative placement, shadow ratio)
-
Works on any symbol and timeframe
-
Lightweight buffer-based plotting (no trade execution functions)
Benefits
-
Standardizes pin bar identification with a consistent, adjustable definition
-
Speeds up chart scanning and review across multiple instruments
-
Supports confirmation and timing workflows when combined with your own context (trend, key levels, supply/demand zones)
-
Helps reduce subjectivity when comparing pin bars across sessions and timeframes
How it works
-
Evaluates the most recently completed candle for a pin bar style rejection pattern using configurable constraints.
-
Applies a simple local-extreme check to avoid marking non-distinct candles.
-
If valid, marks the pin bar candle and plots a directional arrow on the next candle at its open price.
Recommended usage
-
Use as a confirmation and timing overlay, not as a standalone strategy.
-
Combine with your preferred context tools such as:
-
trend direction filters (e.g., higher-timeframe bias, moving average slope)
-
key levels and supply/demand zones
-
session/time rules and volatility awareness
-
-
Consider stricter settings on lower timeframes to reduce frequent markings.
Who it is for
-
Discretionary traders who already use pin bars within a broader framework
-
Traders who want a consistent, rule-based pin bar marker with next-candle confirmation visualization
-
Users building structured chart review workflows
