TrynovaTrader Compound is a fully automated Expert Advisor for gold (XAUUSD) with compounding: the lot is calculated on every trade from a percentage of the balance.
STRATEGY
Trend pullback system with three engines (15, 10 and 5 minutes) on one chart.
Each setup is scored with points: round number in the path, strong 4-hour level, daily level, three entries in favour, strong daily move and big candle.
Risk per trade by points: 1.5% of balance with 3 points or less, 5% with 4 points and 10% with 5 points.
The lot is calculated from the real stop loss distance. As the account grows, the lot grows; after losses, it shrinks.
Every trade has a stop loss and a take profit of 3 times the risk.
No grid, no martingale, no averaging down.
BACKTEST (MetaTrader 5, Tickmill demo account, "every tick based on real ticks", 10,000 USD, leverage 1:500)
27/10/2023 - 27/10/2026: +83,958 USD (+840%), profit factor 4.08, 42 trades, 52% winners.
Max balance drawdown: 10.2%. Max equity drawdown: 43% (49% relative).
Largest single loss: -10.2% of balance (5-point trade).
WHAT YOU MUST KNOW
This is the highest-risk version. A losing 5-point trade costs 10% of the account, and if the three engines lose at the same time the drop can be larger.
Floating (equity) drawdown can approach 50%.
Compounding needs time: recommended horizon 3 years or more.
Low frequency: about 1-2 trades per month. Trades can stay open for days or weeks.
Not suitable for prop-firm daily loss rules.
REQUIREMENTS
XAUUSD, M5 chart recommended (the EA requests its own 15, 10 and 5-minute bars).
HEDGING account: up to 3 trades can be open at the same time, one per engine.
Recommended balance: 10,000 USD. Works from 1,000 USD, but the 0.01 minimum lot makes the risk less precise.
Leverage 1:200 or higher.
Input "Hours: server time minus New York time": hours between your broker's server time and New York time. Default 7, the usual value for gold brokers (server GMT+2/+3).
