OSPE Bot is a MetaTrader 5 Expert Advisor that starts BUY and SELL ladders from completed-candle ATR trailing-stop signals. It adds positions after favorable price movement and manages both directions through one combined basket target and loss limit.
OSPE Bot reads the selected signal timeframe after a candle has closed. A BUY signal occurs when the selected price source crosses above its ATR trailing stop. A SELL signal occurs when it crosses below. The source can use regular close or Heikin Ashi close.
A signal starts the first position for its direction if that direction has no active position. The BUY and SELL ladders are independent, so an opposite signal can start the other side on an MT5 hedging account. Once a ladder is active, additional positions in that direction require a favorable move from its most recent entry. The first additional layer uses the configured price distance. Each later distance multiplies by the distance factor. Lot size is calculated separately for each direction using the initial lot and lot multiplier, then adjusted to the symbol's allowed volume step and limits.
Both directions share a combined floating basket. The EA requests closure of its own positions on the attached symbol when the basket reaches the configured take-profit or stop-loss amount in the account currency. The amounts are managed by the EA on incoming ticks; they are not broker-side stop orders. The basket calculation uses position profit and swap and can include entry commission and fees when the relevant deal history is available.
The chart interface shows the latest signal, the BUY and SELL layer counts, basket profit or loss, and optional next-layer price lines. BUY and SELL labels are placed on newly observed signal candles. Orders are identified by the configured magic number and are not mixed with other EAs' positions.

- First favorable layer distance and multiplier for subsequent gaps.
- Combined basket take profit and stop loss in account currency.
- Maximum spread, execution deviation, entry retry interval, and margin check.

## Default example for XAUUSD
Initial lot: 0.02. Lot multiplier: 1.60. First favorable gap: 1.00 in the symbol's price units. Later gap multiplier: 0.95. Basket target: 1.00 in account currency. Basket loss limit: 100.00 in account currency. Maximum: 8 positions per direction and 12 combined. These are starting inputs for testing, not a performance claim. Adjust them for your symbol, broker volume step, spread, and available margin.
## Setup and requirements
Install the compiled EX5 in the MetaTrader 5 Experts folder. Attach it to one chart per symbol and magic number, enable algorithmic trading, and use an MT5 hedging account for the independent BUY and SELL ladders. Check the Journal for rejected orders, and test your settings in Strategy Tester and a demo account before live use. The EA starts watching for new closed-candle alerts when attached; it does not open a trade from an older historical signal.
Trading can lose money. A larger lot multiplier increases position exposure. The basket loss limit relies on the terminal and EA receiving ticks, and execution can differ from the configured threshold during fast markets, gaps, or connection interruptions. A cap on new layers does not close an already open basket.
