Como configurar

Primeiro, você deve tornar falsa a opção "THIS_INPUT_MUST_BE_FALSE".
O EA deve ser anexado a apenas um gráfico M1 por Forex Pair.
Você não precisa de arquivos .set, todas as configurações são armazenadas internamente no EA.
Se a sua corretora usa sufixos em símbolos, por exemplo USDJPYe, você deve colocar este sufixo na entrada "SymbolSuffix".
A configuração BrokerGMT é o GMT que seu Broker usa no DST (horário de verão dos EUA). Você não precisa alterar este valor no final do horário de verão.
Saldo mínimo recomendado: $300. Mas você pode começar até mesmo com $100.
Broker recomendado: Um verdadeiro ECN, com baixo Spread e baixa comissão, como Tickmill, Global Prime, Darwinex ou ICMarkets.

Sobre os backtests

Este EA é foi projetado para ser extremamente fácil de testar.
Ele trabalha apenas nos Pontos de Controle. Então Você não precisá de dados históricos ultra precisos tick por tick, simplesmente pois esse EA não opera tick a tick.
Você mesmo pode verificar, a diferença de um Backtest com Every Tick ou Control Points trará o mesmo resultado.

Outro fator importante é, trabalhar apenas nos pontos de controle deixa o backtest muito mais preciso pois não irá usar ticks aleatórios do mt4, mas usa apenas os dados conhecidos OHLC.

Absolutamente não! A criação deste EA teve o seguinte princípio: Fazer overfit apenas em um pequeno periodo. Se a estrátegia tiver edge sobre o mercado, continuará positiva nos demais períodos. E foi exatamente o que aconteceu.

O overfit aconteceu apenas no período 2015-2016 e a estratégia se mostra positiva de 2008 a 2021.

You only tested one pair and for a relatively short period. A test of just over a year does not say anything about a product that is intended to be used for decades.
