Ronin Shield Daily Guard
IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ FIRST
This product protects against the DAILY LOSS only. It does NOT include total (maximum) drawdown protection. If your trading rules or prop firm have a maximum drawdown rule, you must manage that limit yourself or use a tool that covers it.
WHAT IT DOES
Ronin Shield Daily Guard watches your account's net profit and loss for the day. When the loss reaches the limit you set, it:
- closes all open positions,
- deletes all pending orders,
- locks the account for the rest of the day, and
- closes any new order shortly after it is filled while the lock is active.
The lock stays in place after you restart the terminal, restart the EA, or change the timeframe. It is released automatically at 00:00 server time of the next day. There is no manual way to release a daily lock (except TEST MODE, for demo testing only). This is by design, to help you stop trading when your plan says stop.

HOW TO USE
1. Attach the EA to ONE chart (any symbol). It protects the whole account.
2. Enable Algo Trading, otherwise forced closes will fail.
3. Set the limit mode and the daily loss limit.
4. Test on a demo account first.

LIMITATIONS - PLEASE UNDERSTAND
- Forced closing is done one position at a time, about 1 second per position. Pending orders and new orders are handled within about 1-2 seconds. The price can keep moving meanwhile, so the final loss can be LARGER than your limit. In our demo test, a $5 limit ended at -$5.77.
- The EA works only while your terminal is running and connected. If the PC is turned off or the connection is lost, there is no protection. A VPS is recommended.
- Use only ONE Shield per account (this product or Ronin Shield Tactical Prop Guard, not both). Several copies share the lock state and interfere with each other.
- Daily results use the broker's server time (00:00).
- If you set the limit lower than today's loss so far, the lock starts immediately and all positions are closed.
- Tested on: an Exness demo account (hedging, USD). NOT tested: netting accounts, accounts in other currencies such as JPY, other brokers, and behavior after an internet disconnection. Please verify the behavior on a demo account with your own broker before using it live.
