Hassila Pompom is an Expert Advisor for EURUSD and GBPUSD. It reads the M15 chart and trades one simple idea: when RSI(7) closes above 70 during the main session, price has stretched too far and tends to pull back. The EA sells at the close of that bar with a stop loss and a take profit placed at 1.5 times ATR(14). Both levels are set from the moment the trade opens.
When a trade reaches its take profit, the EA can open a reaction trade in the opposite direction with the same stop distance. One input controls how far this chain goes. By default it adapts to the symbol: one reaction on EURUSD and none on GBPUSD, which was the setting that held up best in our tests once trading costs were included.
Position size comes from account equity and the stop distance, with 2% risk per trade by default. A multiplier raises the size slightly after a winning trade and lowers it after a loss, always between a floor and a ceiling. The EA does not use martingale or grid techniques.
Several filters keep it out of the market when conditions are poor. New signals are only taken inside the session window, 12:00 to 21:00 UTC by default. High impact news for either currency of the symbol pauses new entries from 30 minutes before the release until 30 minutes after, using the MetaTrader 5 economic calendar. After a losing trade the EA waits four bars; after three losses in a row it pauses for eight bars, and if the win rate of the last 20 trades drops below 45% it stands aside for three days. There is also a limit of six signal trades per day and a spread filter measured against ATR.
Before sending any order the EA checks that the market is open, that the free margin is enough for the lot, and that volume and stop levels respect the broker's limits. It works on hedging and netting accounts.
The panel on the chart shows what the EA is doing: an RSI gauge with the sell level, a 24 hour session strip, the time left to the next M15 bar, the open position, the reaction chain drawn as one dot per level, the last 24 results, and the next high impact release with a countdown.
How to use it: attach it to a EURUSD or GBPUSD chart. It always reads M15 internally, whatever chart period you choose. The server time inputs are preset for brokers on GMT+2 in winter and GMT+3 in summer; if your broker uses another time zone, change them so the session falls on the right hours. The news filter only works on live charts, because the economic calendar is not available in the Strategy Tester.
The screenshots show Strategy Tester results without commission. Commissions and spreads on a real account reduce the results, and past performance does not guarantee future results. Test the EA on a demo account first.
