MTF SuperTrend – Multi-Symbol & Multi-Timeframe
A non-repainting SuperTrend indicator that lets you plot the trend of any symbol and any timeframe on your current chart — for example, view the Daily SuperTrend of XAUUSD while trading on a 15-minute EURUSD chart.

- Multi-Symbol / Multi-Timeframe sourcing — calculate SuperTrend from a different symbol and/or timeframe than the one you're viewing, and have it accurately mapped onto your current chart.
- No repainting, no drift — uses a strict "last bar at or before" mapping algorithm, so no future data ever leaks into past bars, and a persistent incremental cache means historical values never silently change on recalculation.
- Efficient incremental updates — only new source bars are processed on each tick instead of recomputing the full history, keeping the indicator lightweight even on large datasets.
- Configurable ATR Period & Multiplier — tune sensitivity to match your trading style.
- Multi-channel alerts on trend flip — popup, push notification to your phone, email, and sound, individually toggleable.

Inputs

How to Use
- Attach the indicator to any chart.
- (Optional) Set Source Symbol and Source Timeframe if you want to track the trend of a different market/timeframe than the chart you're viewing — e.g., set Source Symbol to "XAUUSD" and Source Timeframe to "Daily" while viewing a 15-minute chart.
- Adjust ATR Period and Multiplier to control how tightly the trend line follows price. A smaller multiplier reacts faster but gives more false flips; a larger multiplier is smoother but slower to react.
- Enable the alert channels you want (Popup for instant on-screen notice, Push for mobile alerts via MetaTrader, Email, and/or Sound).
- The line changes color on a trend flip (blue = bullish, red/crimson = bearish by default) — use these flips as potential entry/exit signals, or as trend-filter confirmation alongside your other strategy rules.
