ATR Fib Trailer — ATR Trailing Stop with Fibonacci Retracement Zones
ATR Fib Trailer combines a volatility-adjusted trailing stop with Fibonacci retracement bands, giving you both a clear trend-following stop level and visual zones for potential entries, exits, or profit-taking.
How it works
The indicator calculates a Chandelier-style trailing stop using the Average True Range (ATR), smoothed with Wilder's method. As price trends, the stop line tightens toward price on pullbacks and only flips direction once price closes beyond it — filtering out noise while staying responsive to real trend changes.
Between the current trailing stop and the most recent price extremum (highest high or lowest low of the active trend), the indicator plots three Fibonacci retracement levels (default: 61.8%, 78.6%, 88.6%) as shaded bands. These bands highlight zones where price often reacts during a pullback, useful for spotting add-on entries, partial exits, or tightening risk.
Small arrows mark the moment price crosses each Fibonacci level, so you can see at a glance when a pullback reaches a key retracement zone.

Inputs

- ATR Factor — multiplier applied to ATR for the trailing distance (default 5.0)
- Show Fib Entries — toggle the Fibonacci cross arrows on/off
- Fib Level 1/2/3 — retracement percentages for the three bands (defaults 61.8 / 78.6 / 88.6)
- Band Color Up / Down — base colors for uptrend and downtrend bands
- Band Opacity 1/2/3 — opacity percentage for each band, from innermost to outermost
