Overview
Smart Gold 15M Fibonacci Retracement EA is a fully automated Expert Advisor designed for trading XAUUSD (Gold), with recommended use on the M15 timeframe.
The EA combines EMA 9 / EMA 21 trend detection with a Fibonacci Retracement entry system. Instead of entering immediately after an EMA crossover, it waits for a pullback before opening a position.
It also includes built-in risk management and capital protection features to support disciplined trading.
Trading Strategy
The EA monitors EMA 9 and EMA 21 to identify market direction.
A signal is generated after the crossover candle has closed. Once confirmed, the EA creates a Fibonacci Retracement from that completed candle and waits for price confirmation before entering the market.
Entry Logic
Buy Setup
A Buy setup is created when EMA 9 crosses above EMA 21 and the crossover candle closes.
The EA first waits for price to retrace to the 61.8% Fibonacci level. If price does not reach 61.8% and reverses upward, the EA may enter when price crosses back above the 38.2% Fibonacci level.
Sell Setup
A Sell setup is created when EMA 9 crosses below EMA 21 and the crossover candle closes.
The EA first waits for price to retrace to the 61.8% Fibonacci level. If price does not reach 61.8% and reverses downward, the EA may enter when price crosses back below the 38.2% Fibonacci level.
Fibonacci Management
- Automatic Fibonacci drawing after a confirmed EMA crossover
- Only one active Fibonacci setup at a time
- New EMA crossover replaces the previous setup
- Fibonacci setup expires after 30 minutes (1800 seconds) if no trade is triggered
- Optional Fibonacci removal after trade execution
Order Execution
Before opening any order, the EA checks:
- Margin availability
- Trading volume validity
- Broker stop-level requirements
- Trade permission
- Existing open positions
- Trade delay restrictions
Orders are executed only when all required conditions are valid.
