SMC Visual Zones and support/resistance
This indicator shows you where institutional traders are placing their orders. It marks the key zones on your chart - order blocks, fair value gaps, structure breaks, liquidity levels, and support/resistance - so you can plan your entries around them.
Works on any symbol and timeframe. Default settings are configured for XAUUSD on M15 and H1.
How It Helps Your Trading
Instead of drawing zones manually, the indicator detects them automatically and updates in real time. You see exactly where price is likely to react before it gets there.
When multiple zones overlap at the same price - for example, an order block sitting inside a fair value gap near a liquidity level - the indicator highlights this as a Point of Interest (POI) with a confluence score. Higher score means higher probability.
All zones are cleaned up automatically. Mitigated order blocks disappear. Filled gaps are removed. Swept liquidity levels are hidden. Your chart stays clean.
What You See on the Chart
Order Blocks: colored rectangles showing where institutions left unfilled orders. Green zones mark buying interest. Red zones mark selling pressure.
Fair Value Gaps: highlighted areas where price moved too fast, leaving gaps that often get filled later.
BOS and CHoCH: labels on the chart showing where market structure changed direction. BOS (Break of Structure) confirms the trend. CHoCH (Change of Character) warns you that a reversal may be starting.
Liquidity Levels: dashed lines at equal highs and equal lows where stop-loss orders are clustered. The number in parentheses shows how many times price tested that level.
Support and Resistance: horizontal lines at prices where price has bounced multiple times. Thicker lines mean stronger levels. The label shows the touch count - S(4) means support tested 4 times.
Session Colors: each candle is colored by trading session (London, New York, Asian, Pacific) so you can see which session is driving the move.
VWAP: volume-weighted average price with deviation bands. Helps identify whether price is trading above or below fair value.
Volume Profile: shows where trading volume is concentrated. The POC (Point of Control) line marks the price with highest activity.
Fibonacci: automatic retracement levels (61.8, 70.5, 78.6) drawn from the current swing.
Toggle Buttons
Every feature has an on/off button directly on the chart. Click once to show it, click again to hide it. No need to open settings. You choose what you want to see.
Default view shows FVG, BOS, Support/Resistance, and Session colors. Everything else is one click away.
Multi-Symbol Scanner
A built-in table monitors up to 8 symbols at once and shows you their current status: trend direction, whether order blocks or gaps are present, sweep activity, and confluence level. You can spot setups across multiple pairs without switching charts.
Equilibrium Zones
The indicator divides the current price range into upper and lower zones with an equilibrium line at the center. This helps you identify whether price is trading at a value or at an extreme.
Previous Day and Week Levels
PDH, PDL, PWH, PWL lines are drawn automatically - four key levels that many traders watch for reactions.
Clean Chart Design
Zones that are far from the current price are hidden automatically. Labels do not stack on top of each other. Duplicate zones at similar prices are merged. The chart grid is removed for a cleaner look.
Settings
All parameters can be adjusted from the indicator input panel. Key settings include:
- MinConfluence: how many factors must overlap before a POI is marked (default 5).
- MaxVisibleZones: how many zones to display per type (default 2, keeps chart clean).
- Session Filter: trade only during London and New York hours.
- Score Weights: control how much each factor contributes to the confluence score. For example, increase the weight for Order Blocks if you rely on them more.
- S&R Sensitivity: adjust how many touches are needed and how far back to scan.
Default values are set for XAUUSD. Other instruments may need adjustment.
Notes
The indicator uses closed candle data only. Zones and labels do not change after a candle closes.
This is a visual analysis tool. It does not open or close trades.
Updates with new features and fixes are included.
