BandSnap Grid EA is a professional mean-reversion Expert Advisor
for MetaTrader 5 that identifies high-probability price snap-back
opportunities using Bollinger Bands, then protects your capital
with a smart grid recovery system.
The strategy is simple and proven: when price spikes outside the
Bollinger Bands and immediately closes back inside, it signals an
exhausted move that is likely to reverse. BandSnap enters at this
exact moment — the snap-back — and targets a clean 50-pip recovery.

HOW IT WORKS
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
STEP 1 — SIGNAL DETECTION
Price closes outside Bollinger Bands(35, 1.8), then the next bar
closes back inside. This two-bar pattern confirms the spike was a
temporary overextension — not a genuine breakout.
STEP 2 — QUALITY FILTERS (5 layers)
- RSI Speed Filter: RSI must not move more than 15 points per bar
- RSI Direction Gate: RSI below 45 for BUY, above 55 for SELL
- ADX Trend Filter: ADX must be below 25 (ranging market only)
- H4 Trend Alignment: H4 EMA(50) slope must not oppose the signal
- Volatility Spike Filter: StdDev(36) below 2x its 100-bar average
STEP 3 — GRID RECOVERY
If price moves against the entry, the smart grid activates:
- New positions open every 35-50 pips (Smart Distance via ATR)
- All positions share one weighted-average Take Profit
- Grid Hard Stop closes everything if loss exceeds 2.5% of balance
- Maximum 5 grid levels in Low Risk mode
STEP 4 — EXIT MANAGEMENT
- Break-even moves SL to entry after 8 pips profit
- Trailing Stop follows price after 10 pips profit
- Weighted TP recalculates after each new grid level opens
- All positions closed before weekend (Friday 23:00)
