Reversal Master – Since 2015.

The Reversal Master is an indicator for determining the current direction of price movement and reversal points. The indicator will be useful for those who want to see the current market situation better. The indicator can be used as an add-on for ready-made trading systems, or as an independent tool, or to develop your own trading systems.

The Reversal Master indicator, to determine the reversal points, analyzes a lot of conditions since the combined analysis gives a more accurate picture of the market situation. The indicator analyzes Price Action patterns, the volume, and average range of movement of a trading instrument, as well as overbought and oversold levels.

Choose Indicator Mode - indicator operation mode:

Mode-1 - the previous version (v1.5 and lower) operating mode (with a different algorithm for calculating trend reversal points)
Mode-2 - the new version (v2.0 and higher) operating mode

Sensitivity (for Mode-1) - sensitivity setting for Mode-1

Use Auto Sensitivity for Mode-2 – if ‘true’, the sensitivity settings for Mode-2 are automatically selected by the indicator, and if ‘false’, the settings are set using the Sensitivity (for Mode-2) variable

Sensitivity (for Mode-2) - sensitivity setting for Mode-2

Show Statistic (for Mode-2) - displaying potential profit for each position for Mode-2

Bars for Count - the number of bars to calculate. If 0, the calculation is made for the entire available history. For weak computers, I recommend limiting this parameter to 5000 bars or less

The main task of the indicator is to display the already formed reversal points and not try to take the entire price movement from its very beginning. This algorithm was chosen to minimize the risks of false entries.

Built-in statistics allow us to see the potential profit for each position in history, showing the difference between the entry point and the price extremum formed before the opposite signal appears.

Negative trades are considered simplified when the opposite signal appears. You can fix losses using your own strategy.

Don't forget to upload historical data for the analyzed trading instrument!

The indicator signals for buying and selling are what is in the sub-window (under the price chart) – blue and red vertical levels. These signals do not repaint, don't worry. The specifics of the indicator's work is that it displays the maximum potential profit of the position and, as for the current position, of course it moves following the price and changes its values. The indicator finds the entry point and then moves the value to the maximum for buying (or minimum for selling) price peak. Thus, the indicator displays the maximum potential of the current position. Indicator is very good with my strategy. Combined with a multi time frame trend indicator and my backtests had a very good win loss ratio. Doesnt give so much signals which is good. To get more signals all you need to do is adding more pairs. Im getting around 10 signals a day after adding 12 pairs. And gold is interesting with this indicator. And.. about author, respectful and eager to further developing the indicator. I had a few requests and he wrote the next day that he will make them happen in a few days. So, everything is great until now.
