💎 2- Good chart patterns are recognizable in 5 seconds, while excellent chart patterns are recognizable only in 2 seconds.

💎 3- Chart patterns on big time frames work better than chart patterns that appear on small time frames.

💎 4- Continuation chart patterns work better than trend reversal chart patterns.

💎 5- Trade the breakout of the pattern with the best return to risk ratio (RRR), because a high RRR will lead to successful results even with a low winning ratio.

Yes, excessive greed and fear emotions can lead to tremendous losses, and the easiest way to be affected by bad emotions is to listen to the crowds.

Why do we listen to the crowds even if we know that it could harm our ability to take the correct decision? It is because crowds have an answer for every question. They talk like us they are human with the same feelings as us. When the market move to the downside they amplify the voice of pessimism in our mind & when the market move to the upside they amplify the voice of optimism in our heads.

But do we really need this amplifier?
No, we don't

The Legendary Nicolas Darvas once said:
"My ears are my enemy".

This is true. a trader who listens and accepts every emotional signal that comes from the crowds will not see opportunities in the market. This habit will crash his mentality to take the correct decision.

The successful trader should not put his ears on the crowd's wall, instead, he should build walls between his ears and the crowds.

Just additional input, leading indicators only means it will bring odds in our favor but it does not mean that it can accurately predict market movement all the time. If the trader is not using good RR and do not give emphasis in controlling the risk he is still destined to fail in the end.
