TradeArchitect Perpetuals is a chart-based manual order and risk manager for MetaTrader 5 accounts that use Netting position accounting. It combines visual trade planning, margin-aware position sizing, commission-aware estimates, market and pending order execution, position management and optional same-direction order progression.
The utility does not generate trading signals and does not decide when to buy or sell. The trader selects the direction, Entry, Stop Loss and Take Profit. TradeArchitect Perpetuals calculates the volume, checks the complete plan and submits only the orders requested by the trader.
### Visual planning and execution
- Prepare BUY and SELL plans directly on the chart.
- Use draggable Entry, Stop Loss and Take Profit lines.
- Keep Entry linked to the current price or drag it to create a pending order.
- Submit market, Buy Limit, Buy Stop, Sell Limit and Sell Stop orders.
- Calculate volume from a percentage of equity or balance, or from a fixed amount in the account currency.
- Review estimated loss at Stop Loss, net result at Take Profit, required margin and estimated round-trip commissions before submission.
- Confirm important trade actions before they are sent.
- Filter managed trades by symbol and Magic Number.
### Netting position management
On a Netting account, executions in the same direction are combined into one position. TradeArchitect Perpetuals works with the resulting volume-weighted entry price supplied by MetaTrader 5.
- One BREAK EVEN command protects the unified Netting position.
- Common Stop Loss and Take Profit values are synchronized after new fills.
- Manual partial close, close-managed and trailing-stop controls are available from the main panel.
- Three optional automatic partial closes can be configured with R-multiple triggers and percentages of the remaining volume.
- Opposite exposure is blocked when a same-symbol basket is being prepared.
- One managed basket per symbol can be enforced.
### Optional same-direction progression
TradeArchitect Perpetuals provides two progression modes designed to remain on the same side of a Netting position:
- Martingale places additional Limit orders between the base Entry and the common Stop Loss.
- Anti-martingale places additional Stop orders between the base Entry and the common Take Profit.
The number of additional levels, distance in points and volume multiplier are configurable. Planned levels are displayed on the chart before submission. Every level uses the common Stop Loss and Take Profit selected for the base plan.
The progression can start from a market order or from a pending base order. When a pending base order is filled, the utility reads its actual fill price and volume, repeats the risk and margin checks and only then submits the additional levels.
Before submission, the Live Grid Preview shows the level volumes, maximum estimated loss at the common Stop Loss, potential result at Take Profit and maximum estimated round-trip commissions if all configured levels are filled. The progression is blocked when its estimated loss exceeds the selected percentage or monetary limit, when a planned level reaches the common exit, or when the broker's volume, distance or margin requirements cannot be met.
### Margin-aware sizing
The applied volume is limited by three checks:
1. Volume derived from the selected risk and Stop Loss.
2. Volume compatible with the available margin budget.
3. Volume that can support the base order and every configured progression level.
If enabled, automatic margin sizing reduces the volume when the original risk-based size would require too much margin. The margin budget can be controlled with a maximum percentage of free margin and a fixed monetary reserve.
Commission estimates use the manually configured percentage per side and the notional value of each planned order. Risk at Stop Loss and potential profit at Take Profit include the estimated opening and closing commissions. The actual commission charged by the broker remains available in the MetaTrader 5 deal history.
### Basic workflow
1. Select percentage risk or fixed monetary risk.
2. Set the risk value, R:R ratio and initial Stop Loss distance in points.
3. Press PREPARE BUY or PREPARE SELL.
4. Adjust Entry, Stop Loss and Take Profit on the chart.
5. Select progression OFF, MARTINGALE or ANTI-MARTINGALE.
6. Review volume, risk, target, margin and maximum commission estimates.
7. Press SEND ORDER and confirm the operation.
### Account and platform notes
- The utility is intended for MetaTrader 5 Netting accounts.
- It uses the symbol specifications supplied by the broker, including tick size, tick value, contract size, minimum and maximum volume, volume step, stop distance and margin calculation.
- Commission percentage is a manual input because MetaTrader 5 does not provide one universal pre-trade commission field for every broker and symbol.
- Commission, margin usage, monetary reserve and minimum holding-time settings must be adjusted to the rules of the selected broker or trading program.
- One instance per chart is recommended.
- MetaTrader 5 and the utility must remain running for local trailing stop, automatic partial closes and pending-base progression management.
- The minimum holding-time protection applies to closing actions initiated by the utility. A server-side Stop Loss or Take Profit may still be executed earlier.
- Estimates do not include funding charges, swaps, slippage, price gaps or future broker fee changes.
- Test every order type and management function on a demo account before operational use.
### Risk notice
Grid and volume-progression methods can increase market exposure quickly. Margin and risk limits are preventive calculations and do not remove execution risk. Orders and protective stops may be affected by slippage, gaps, liquidity and broker execution rules. This utility does not guarantee trading results or profits.
