LW Volume Profile with Value Area and Alerts

See where the market actually traded. LW Volume Profile Pro turns volume onto the price axis to reveal the levels that matter most.

For the selected range it marks:

• POC (Point of Control) — the price with the most traded volume; a natural magnet and mean-reversion reference.
• Value Area (VAH / VAL) — the band holding a chosen percentage of volume (default 70%); the zone the market treats as fair value.
• A horizontal volume histogram — thick rows are strong support/resistance, thin rows are fast low-interest prices that tend to get skipped.

Two modes:

• Rolling: one profile over the last N bars, always up to date.
• Daily: a separate profile for each calendar day (you choose how many recent days), for session-based analysis.

Alerts:

• Optional popup and mobile push notification when price crosses the POC, VAH or VAL.

Also included:

• On-chart info label showing VAH / POC / VAL and whether price is ABOVE, IN, or BELOW value.
• Fully adjustable: rows/resolution, value-area percentage, histogram width, and all colors.
• Works on any symbol and any timeframe. Lightweight, no external dependencies.

How traders use it: fade extremes back toward the POC, trade rejections at VAH/VAL, and treat a clean break of the Value Area as a trend signal.

Note on volume: retail Forex/CFD feeds have no centralized traded volume, so this indicator uses TICK volume (the number of price updates) — the industry-standard proxy. It approximates market activity, not exchange volume.
