Professional trend-following Expert Advisor based on Heiken Ashi candles. Unlike traditional candlesticks, Heiken Ashi smooths price action and filters out market noise, making trends much easier to identify visually and algorithmically.
This EA generates buy signals when two consecutive Heiken Ashi candles are bullish (green, close > open) and sell signals when two consecutive candles are bearish (red, close < open). The double-candle confirmation significantly reduces false signals during market indecision.
Optional but powerful: a moving average filter (default 200 SMA) can be enabled to ensure trades are only taken in the direction of the long-term trend. When enabled, buy signals require price above the MA, and sell signals require price below the MA.
Fully customizable parameters include: lot size (fixed or risk percentage up to 100%), stop loss in points (default 250), take profit in points (default 1000), moving average period and method (SMA, EMA, SMMA, LWMA), and the option to disable the MA filter entirely.
The EA automatically normalizes lot sizes according to broker limits (min, max, step) and validates stop loss and take profit prices against broker's minimum distance requirements. If a stop cannot be set (e.g., distance too small), it is safely disabled and the order opens without it.
Opens only one order per direction at a time, preventing over-trading. Ideal for any timeframe and any symbol: forex, indices, commodities, crypto. Includes magic number and order comment for easy identification. Compiled for X64 Regular – fully compatible with MQL5 Market requirements.
