How to Use

The Body Focus Candles indicator is versatile and can be used in several ways:

1. Trend Confirmation: Look for a series of "Strong Bullish" or "Strong Bearish" candles to confirm the strength of a trend.

2. Noise Reduction: In choppy or sideways markets, switch to "Body Only" mode to see if there is any underlying directional bias.

Input Parameters

• Display Settings:

  • Show Candle Shadows : true/false - Toggles between full candles and body-only view.

  • Show Trend Line : true/false - Toggles the visibility of the moving average trend line.

  • Trend Line Period : Sets the calculation period for the moving average.

• Color Settings:

  • Customize the color for each of the five candle types (Bullish, Bearish, Doji, Strong Bullish, Strong Bearish).

• Analysis Settings:

  • Body Percentage for Strong Move (%) : Sets the threshold for a candle to be considered "strong." For example, a value of 70 means the body must be at least 70% of the total high-to-low range.

  • Doji Body Threshold (%) : Sets the maximum body size (as a percentage of the candle range) for a candle to be classified as a Doji.

  • Show Statistics Panel : true/false - Toggles the visibility of the on-screen data panel.

• Alert Settings:

  • Enable Alerts : true/false - Turns the alert functionality on or off.

  • Consecutive Strong Bodies for Alert : Sets how many consecutive strong candles must appear before an alert is triggered.
