Auto Stop Loss and Target Enforcer watches every new position. If one opens without a stop loss or a take profit, it adds them a few seconds later. It covers trades opened by hand and trades opened by other Expert Advisors.
How stops and targets are set
- Stop loss: a multiple of the typical market move (Average True Range), a fixed number of pips, a set share of the account, or beyond the nearest support or resistance level.
- Take profit: a multiple of the typical market move, a fixed number of pips, or a reward-to-risk multiple of the stop distance.
- An optional nudge moves stops clear of nearby support and resistance, where price often turns.
Scope
- All symbols or a chosen list.
- All strategies, listed magic numbers only, or all except the listed ones.
The panel
- DASH tab: the share of open trades that are protected, the rules with their live distances in pips, the risk capped so far, and any trade still missing protection.
- LEVELS tab: nearby support and resistance, a stop safety check, and a switch to show the zones on the chart.
- The panel can be dragged and collapsed, and it remembers where you put it.
Notes
- Pip sizes are handled correctly for gold and silver.
- Alerts can go to a pop-up, a push notification or an email.
- It never opens or closes trades. It only sets stops and targets.
Inputs
SL Enforcement
- Enable SL Enforcement: add stop losses. Default on.
- SL Mode: ATR-Based, Fixed Pips, Equity % Based, or S/R Smart SL (beyond the nearest level).
- Fixed SL (pips): default 30. ATR Multiplier for SL: default 1.5. ATR Period for SL: default 14.
- Equity % Risk for SL: default 1.0.
- S/R Safety Nudge (all SL modes): move stops clear of nearby levels. Default on.
S/R Intelligence
- Min Touches for S/R Level (5), Max Zone Width in pips (8), Zone Projection in bars (60), Remove Broken Levels (on), Max Zones Displayed (10).
- Smart SL Margin Beyond Zone (pips): default 5. Smart SL Fallback (pips): default 30, used when no level is found.
TP Enforcement
- Enable TP Enforcement: add take profits. Default on.
- TP Mode: ATR-Based, Fixed Pips, or Risk:Reward from SL.
- Fixed TP (pips): default 45. ATR Multiplier for TP: default 2.0. ATR Period for TP: default 14.
- Risk:Reward Ratio for TP: default 2.0, based on the stop distance.
Scope
- Magic Number Filter: all trades, only listed magic numbers, or all except listed ones. Magic Numbers: comma-separated.
- Monitor All Symbols: default on. Symbols: the list used when not all symbols are monitored.
- Scan Interval (seconds): default 1. Delay after trade open (seconds): default 3.
Alerts
- MT5 On-Screen Alert, Push Notification (MetaTrader 5 mobile app), Email Alert (uses the terminal's email settings).
