MSS Levels HTF

MSS Levels HTF - Milana Trades

Higher-timeframe Market Structure Shift levels that turn into Support / Resistance and Mirror levels as price interacts with them.

THE IDEA
When price breaks a swing high or swing low on a higher timeframe, that swing becomes an important reference level. The indicator marks it, then follows how price reacts to it: first touch, retest, and finally a flip to the other side. Everything is drawn on your current chart, so you can work on a lower timeframe, while the structure comes from the higher one.

HOW IT WORKS
1. MSS level. A swing high or swing low is found on the selected higher timeframe. When a higher timeframe candle closes beyond it, the broken swing is drawn as a level. A close above a swing high creates a Bull level, a close below a swing low creates a Bear level.
2. S/R level. After the price touches the level with a wick, the label changes from "MSS" to "S/R". Further touches are treated as tests of support or resistance.
3. Mirror level. When a candle body closes through the level (both open and close beyond it), the level becomes a "Mirror" and the line turns dotted. Later touches are treated as a retest from the other side.
4. Cleanup. A Mirror level is removed when a new MSS in the opposite direction appears. The number of untouched MSS levels per direction is limited, so the chart stays clean.

FEATURES
- Bull and Bear levels in separate colors
- Labels with the source timeframe (for example "MSS 1h", "S/R 1h", "Mirror 1h")
- Optional history lines from the original swing to the moment of the break
- Duplicate levels are skipped
- Works on any symbol and any timeframe

ALERTS
Alerts are sent when price touches a level:
- Any level
- MSS level
- S/R level
- Mirror level
Each type of alert can be switched on or off. Alerts can be shown as a pop-up window, a push notification, or an email. Each alert type is sent no more than once per bar. Alerts are not triggered when you attach the indicator or change its settings.

INPUT PARAMETERS
- HTF Timeframe - higher timeframe used to detect market structure
- Pivot Strength - number of bars on each side of a swing point (default 4). Lower values give more  internal mss levels, higher values give fewer and more external mss levels
- Bull MSS Color / Bear MSS Color - level colors
- Line Style / Line Width - appearance of the level lines
- Extend to End - Extends the level lines to the right edge of the chart
- Max Untouched Levels - maximum number of untouched MSS levels per direction
- Show History Lines / History Line Width - swing-to-break lines
- Max chart bars to process - how much chart history is analyzed
- HTF bars to load - how much higher timeframe history is analyzed
- Alert settings - choose alert types and delivery methods

HOW TO USE
Attach the indicator to a chart, select the higher timeframe, and watch how price behaves around the drawn levels. The indicator is intended for market structure analysis and for planning your own entries and exits. It does not open or close trades .

NOTES
- Make sure the higher timeframe history is loaded in your terminal. If no levels appear, open the higher timeframe chart once and reload the indicator.
- Levels depend on the Pivot Strength and the selected higher timeframe, so results will differ between settings.
- Trading involves risk. The indicator is an analytical tool and does not guarantee any result. Test it on a demo account before using it in live trading.
