MTF Trend M1 Colour Candles Buy Sell indicator MT5
MTF Trend M1 Colour Candles is a non-repaint, non-redraw colour candle indicator for MetaTrader 5, built for M1 scalping. It combines a moving average trend filter on the current chart with a multi-timeframe RSI filter, and shows the result directly on the price candles.
Developed by Shashikant Jawahar Dhuri, a full-time trader focused on M1 scalping built on multi-timeframe trend.
All calculations use closed bars only. The colour of every candle is decided when the candle opens and does not change while it forms, and history is never redrawn. What you see in the Strategy Tester is what you see on a live chart.
Designed for M1 to M3 charts (M1 recommended). Works on any symbol: forex pairs, gold, indices, crypto and others offered by your broker.
How to read the candles
Lime candle with a "Buy Entry" label: buy signal. The first lime candle after a neutral or sell phase marks the buy entry point.
Red candle with a "Sell Entry" label: sell signal. The first red candle after a neutral or buy phase marks the sell entry point.
Silver candle: neutral zone, no action required. The first silver candle after a lime or red phase is marked "Buy Exit" or "Sell Exit" and shows the exit time.
The labels are placed at the high or low of the previous closed candle, so their position is fixed the moment they appear and never moves.
On M15 and higher timeframes the indicator draws neutral candles and shows a short note, because it is designed for M1 to M3 charts.
Alerts
An alert is sent once, when a new lime or red candle opens. The message contains the symbol, timeframe, signal, price and server time, for example:

Inputs
Max bars to calculate (0 = all): number of history bars that are coloured. Lower values use less CPU. Default 5000.
BUY SIGNAL candle: colour of buy candles. Default Lime.
SELL SIGNAL candle: colour of sell candles. Default Red.
Neutral candle: colour of neutral candles. Default Silver.
Enable Alerts On Colour Change: turns all alerts on or off.
Popup Message: shows an alert window in the terminal.
Sound: plays a sound file.
Sound File: name of the sound file from the terminal Sounds folder. Default alert.wav.
Push Notification: sends the alert to the MetaTrader mobile app. A MetaQuotes ID must be set in Tools > Options > Notifications.
Email Notification: sends the alert by email. Email settings must be set in Tools > Options > Email.
Notes
The indicator hides the standard chart candles while it is attached and draws its own coloured candles over them. The original chart colours are restored when the indicator is removed.
For EA developers: buffer 5 holds the candle state (+1 buy, -1 sell, 0 neutral). Read it at shift 1 for the last closed candle.
The calculation is light on CPU: only the newest candle is processed on each tick.
