AI Adaptive Signal Trader

AI Adaptive Signal Trader is a fully automated Expert Advisor that combines three independent technical signals with an online, self-adjusting weighting mechanism inspired by adaptive machine-learning (multiplicative-weights / "Hedge" style) algorithms. After every closed trade, the EA rewards the signals that agreed with a winning trade and penalizes the signals that agreed with a losing trade, gradually shifting its own internal weights toward whichever signal has been more reliable in current market conditions.

How It Trades

Three independent signal modules each vote -1 (bearish), 0 (neutral), or +1 (bullish):

• Trend signal - EMA(fast) vs EMA(slow) crossover state
• Momentum signal - RSI position relative to configurable bullish/bearish levels
• Breakout signal - Price position relative to Bollinger Bands

The three votes are combined into a single weighted composite score. A trade is opened only when the composite score crosses a configurable threshold in either direction. Every position uses ATR-based Stop Loss and Take Profit, and an optional ATR-based trailing stop with built-in minimum-distance and take-profit-proximity safety checks.

Adaptive Weight Learning

When a position closes, the EA looks back at which of the three signals agreed with the trade direction and updates each signal's internal weight using a multiplicative update rule: weights of signals that agreed with a winning trade are increased, weights of signals that agreed with a losing trade are decreased. Weights are clamped to a configurable range and renormalized after every update, then saved persistently (per symbol and magic number) so learning carries over between terminal restarts.

Note: this is an on-chart adaptive weighting mechanism built entirely with native MQL5 logic. It does not connect to any external server or third-party AI service.

Recommendations
