### Overview

A level that has already rejected price three times has exhausted most of the orders supporting it: every test consumes liquidity, and on the fourth attempt the level often gives way. A level never tested since it formed still has them all. This indicator locates confirmed swings and draws only those price has not reached since they formed. When a level is finally tested, it stops being drawn: from that moment it is no longer virgin and its nature has changed. It is the natural complement of indicators that count touches: those favour the most tested levels, considering them confirmed by the market, this one favours the intact ones, considering them still loaded. Both readings are legitimate and describe different aspects of the same phenomenon.

### How the calculation works

1. Swings are located with the fractal definition, requiring InpWing confirmation bars per side.

2. A new swing is stored only if it lies on the correct side of current price and closer than the one already held.

3. On every bar it is checked whether price reached the stored level within the ATR tolerance.

4. If the level is reached, it is immediately discarded: it is no longer a virgin level.

5. A level is also discarded by age, when it exceeds InpMaxAge bars without being tested.

6. The state is kept in calculation buffers, so recalculating a bar never alters the history already printed.

### How to use it

- Use the two lines as natural targets: an untested level attracts price because orders concentrate there.

- The disappearance of a line signals the level has just been tested: that is the event, not the line itself.

- A virgin level very close to price indicates the market is about to meet orders not yet consumed.

- Pairing it with a touch counting indicator gives a complete picture: intact levels on one side and confirmed ones on the other.

- Lower InpMaxAge on markets that change structure quickly, where very old levels lose relevance.

### Who it is for and on which timeframes

It is simple and suits less experienced traders too: the concept of an untested level is immediate and requires no background. It works on all timeframes from M15 up. It is particularly useful for those looking for targets for their positions, because virgin levels are the points price tends to be drawn towards. Anyone expecting many lines on the chart will be surprised: by construction the indicator shows at most two, and often none.

### Practical example of reading a signal

On EURJPY H4 a swing high forms at 165.80 during an upward burst. Price falls right after and for three weeks never returns to that level: the red line stays drawn at 165.80 and becomes the natural target of every bullish resumption. When price finally climbs back and touches 165.78, inside the tolerance, the line disappears. From that moment 165.80 is a level like many others, already tested, and its ability to attract price has diminished. The indicator starts searching for the next untested swing high, which will be found higher up.

## Input parameters

## Advantages / strengths

- It reads the phenomenon from the opposite angle to touch counting indicators, offering complementary information.

- The chart stays extremely clean, with at most two lines at a time.

- The disappearance of a line is itself an informative event, not merely an absence.

- No repaint and only four parameters, all with immediate meaning.

## Limitations and warnings

- It shows a single virgin level per side: if several exist, the others stay invisible.

- In sideways markets every level is tested quickly and the indicator is often empty.

- The test tolerance is a sharp threshold: an approach slightly beyond it does not count as a test.

- It does not weight swing importance: a minor virgin level counts the same as a major one.

**No repaint:** values printed on a closed bar are never modified afterwards.
