Some days will have one or two trades, while other may have as much as 5, perhaps even more if the opportunities fall within the EA's trading rules. The EA automatically stops trading for the day when small trading range behavior is detected, avoiding multiple repeated losses. While many variations of trading size were tested, 2.5% of account size proved to be the best mix in terms of capital preservation and capital growth.
- The main priority of Nikkei Samurai is account growth with minimal risk. It is careful not to loose continuously while making the most of breakout opportunities.
- Trading with Nikkei Samurai requires patience in as much as any other EA or trading strategy. There will inevitably periods of drawdown, followed by periods of profitability. While the EA might lose 2x on a losing day, it will make 5x-plus on an average winning day.
