Nikkei Samurai - The last EA you will ever need to trade the Nikkei225 index. This ORB strategy has been built to take advantage of trend days in the Japanese markets, aiming for 5x daily returns and protecting capital during trading range days.
The results speak for themselves. Trailing 1-year performance in excess of 1000% returns, with 2 year performance well in excess of 500% per annum, even with extended trading range behavior. The strategy consistently only trades 2.5% of account size, ensuring good capital management, although increasing your risk percentage to 5% more than quadruples account growth when measured over the latest 1 year period (May 2025 - May 2026).
This smart strategy trail stops and manages re-entries. It trades from the Japanese open up until the US close. All you need is to do is pair it with a VPS, fund your account and watch it work.

Notes for testing:
This EA is built specifically to work with the Nikkei225 index. Different brokers use different symbol names. Make sure to update the trading symbol marked as "Main Trading Asset" in the settings panel to match the trading symbol name that your broker uses. It is currently set to "Nikkei".

- Nikkei Samurai focuses on trading daily opening breakouts repeatedly. Some days will have one or two trades, while other may have as much as 5, perhaps even more if the opportunities fall within the EA's trading rules. The EA automatically stops trading for the day when small trading range behavior is detected, avoiding multiple repeated losses. While many variations of trading size were tested, 2.5% of account size proved to be the best mix in terms of capital preservation and capital growth.
- The main priority of Nikkei Samurai is account growth with minimal risk. It is careful not to loose continuously while making the most of breakout opportunities.
- Trading with Nikkei Samurai requires patience in as much as any other EA or trading strategy. There will inevitably periods of drawdown, followed by periods of profitability. While the EA might lose 2x on a losing day, it will make 5x-plus on an average winning day.
