Advanced Trade Information Dashboard – MT5
Everything I need to know about my account and open positions, right on the chart.
I got tired of clicking between the terminal, the trade tab, and the calculator just to check my margin, pip value, or total profit in pips. So I built this dashboard to put it all in one place.
What It Shows
Total P&L – Real profit/loss from the positions I care about (filter by symbol, magic number, or include swap/commission).
Margin Level – The one number that keeps me from a margin call.
Leverage – Actual effective leverage for the symbol I’m trading.
Margin Required – How much margin I’d need to open a fresh trade with a set lot size.
Pip Value – No more guessing; it shows exactly what one pip is worth in my account currency.
Profit in Pips – Total pips from all my filtered positions, correctly adjusted for 3‑, 5‑, or even 6‑digit brokers.
Why I Like It
Always visible. I put it in a corner of my chart and it updates tick by tick.
Clean layout. Two columns, custom fonts, colors for profit/loss, and I can space everything exactly where I want it.
Alerts that don’t spam me. I set a profit target and a loss limit, and it only warns me once when it crosses. Popup, email, push, or sound – whichever I need at the moment.
Works with any broker. It automatically handles those odd digit settings so pip values and margin are always correct.
No DLLs, no external stuff. Just a single MQL5 file. Drop it on a chart and it runs.
How to Use It
I attach it to my main chart and filter by magic number so it only shows positions from my EA. That way I can monitor the EA’s performance without being distracted by manual trades. If I’m scalping, I set alerts to ping me when profit hits a certain amount – then I know it’s time to move stop or close part of the position.
What You Get
Inputs for everything: corner position, fonts, colors, which symbols/magic numbers to include, profit alert thresholds, lot sizes for pip value and margin.
If you trade seriously, you know how important it is to have key numbers in front of you without hunting around. This dashboard does exactly that.
