JCB — Just Check the Balance — is a fully automated trading advisor with a focus on risk management and capital preservation. You don't need to constantly monitor charts: you choose a strategy, activate the advisor, and it trades automatically, opening trades only when market conditions are favorable.

A key feature is a built-in volatility filter , which acts as a safety net for your deposit. The advisor constantly evaluates current market turbulence and avoids entering trades when the market becomes chaotic and the risk of an accidental loss is higher (sharp impulses, range expansion, unstable phases). In calmer and more predictable conditions, trading is permitted. This reduces the number of unjustified entries and helps keep drawdowns within reasonable limits.

The advisor trades in both directions simultaneously and isn't tied to "guessing" the global trend. It doesn't care whether the market ultimately goes up or down—the key requirement is for the price to move and form viable price zones , where the algorithm can implement its entry and result logic. This allows the robot to remain effective in different market phases—rising, falling, and in transition periods.

At the same time, the system doesn't try to "catch up" with the price during sharp price movements. If the movement becomes too fast and chaotic , protective logic is activated: the robot skips risky moments and waits until the market returns to a more controlled state. This reduces the number of random entries and helps you manage your deposit more carefully during periods of increased turbulence.

The advisor works exclusively with three instruments: GBPUSD, USDCAD, and EURGBP —and this is intentional. There are no universal robots for all pairs: each instrument has its own volatility pattern, reaction to news, spreads, and typical market phases. We deliberately focused on focusing on these pairs and spent two years developing and fine-tuning algorithms specifically for these pairs, retaining only those that deliver the most consistent results.

Entry and exit logic is fully integrated into the algorithm: the robot doesn't require complex optimization or overload you with settings. You set basic risk management parameters (lot size, drawdown limits, and protection modes), and the advisor then makes decisions automatically: it opens trades when needed, and holds them when conditions aren't right, which is critical for discipline and capital protection during volatile periods.

Settings:

1. Traded asset
   Select an instrument from the list: GBPUSD (pound/dollar) , USDCAD (dollar/Canada) , EURGBP (euro/pound) .
   Important: Select the same instrument on whose chart you're running the Expert Advisor . Be sure to double-check that there are no discrepancies.

2. Type of lotage
   Select the volume calculation mode:

• Fixed - the lot is set manually and does not change.

• Dynamic - the lot of the first order is calculated based on the balance.

3. Prohibition/restriction of trading based on drawdown (deposit protection)

Recommended settings for this block:

• Closing all positions at a drawdown in money is disabled (0)

• Disable first entry during drawdown - 50%

• Turn the first input back on - 45%

• Disable grid knees during drawdown - 50%

• Turn on grid tracking back - 45%
