SmartTrend Pro — Multi-Confirmation Trend Indicator for MT5
SmartTrend Pro is a professional, non-repainting trend indicator for MetaTrader 5. It combines four independent technical filters — EMA Crossover, RSI, Stochastic Oscillator, and ATR Volatility — into a single signal engine that confirms entries only on closed bars, eliminating false signals caused by mid-candle fluctuations.
THE REPAINTING PROBLEM — AND HOW IT IS SOLVED
Most trend indicators calculate signals on the current, still-open candle. This causes arrows to appear and disappear before the bar closes, producing backtests that look accurate but fail in live trading.
SmartTrend Pro calculates every signal exclusively on confirmed, closed candles. Once a signal is painted, it never moves or disappears. The current open candle never shows an arrow. What you see in history is exactly what the indicator showed at the time.
KEY FEATURES
Zero Repainting All signals are locked to closed bars. No mid-candle signals. No vanishing arrows. The indicator's historical output is identical to what appeared in real time.
4-Layer Signal Engine A signal is only generated when all four filters agree simultaneously: EMA Crossover, RSI Momentum, Stochastic Timing, and ATR Volatility Gate. This reduces signal frequency while increasing quality.
Dynamic EMA Cloud A color-coded cloud between the Fast and Slow EMA provides an immediate visual read on market bias — green for bullish conditions, red for bearish.
ATR Support and Resistance Bands Volatility-adaptive bands are drawn automatically. These act as a visual reference for stop-loss placement and take-profit targeting.
On-Chart Dashboard Panel A real-time information panel displays trend status, EMA direction, RSI value, Stochastic value, ATR in pips, current price, and overall signal consensus.
Alert System Alerts fire once per signal at the open of a new bar — never mid-candle. Delivered as screen popups, emails, or push notifications to your mobile device. No duplicate alerts.

SIGNAL LOGIC
BUY Signal — All 4 conditions must be true on a closed candle:
- Fast EMA crosses above Slow EMA
- Both Fast and Slow EMA are above the Trend EMA (confirmed uptrend)
- RSI is between the oversold and overbought levels (healthy momentum)
- Stochastic is below the overbought level (favorable entry timing)
SELL Signal — All 4 conditions must be true on a closed candle:
- Fast EMA crosses below Slow EMA
- Both Fast and Slow EMA are below the Trend EMA (confirmed downtrend)
- RSI is between the oversold and overbought levels (healthy momentum)
- Stochastic is above the oversold level (favorable entry timing)
