Flamberg Gold – Professional Expert Advisor for XAU/USD | M15
Flamberg Gold is a high-performance algorithmic trading system designed and optimized exclusively for trading the XAU/USD pair (spot gold) on the M15 timeframe. Developed using an object-oriented architecture in MQL5, the system integrates multiple layers of technical analysis and dynamic risk management, offering a robust and disciplined approach to commodity markets.
Operating Logic
The core of the system is based on the automatic recognition of high-impact price action patterns, including Pin Bars, Engulfing candles, Inside Bars, and range breakouts. Each generated signal undergoes a multi-layered validation process before execution, ensuring that only the entries with the highest statistical probability pass the system's filters.
To confirm the market direction, Flamberg Gold uses the exponential moving average crossover (EMA 9 / EMA 26), ensuring that trades are always opened in the direction of the prevailing trend. In addition, an RSI filter (period 14) discards signals in extremely overbought or oversold conditions and requires confirmed minimum momentum before executing any order. The system also incorporates an ATR volatility filter that compares the current ATR to a configurable historical baseline, blocking trades in excessively flat markets or during periods of abnormal volatility due to high-impact events, such as NFP announcements, Fed decisions, or inflation data.
Advanced Risk Management
Flamberg Gold was designed with capital preservation as its absolute priority. The system features three lot sizing methods: fixed lot size, fixed percentage of balance, and dynamic equity adjustment. It is recommended to start with a risk of 1% per trade on a minimum capital of $1,000 USD, allowing for sufficient margin to operate during statistically normal losing streaks.
Active protection mechanisms include: Automatic Trailing Stop, which protects ongoing profits by adjusting the stop as the price moves; Intelligent break-even point that moves the stop-loss to the entry price once a configurable profit threshold is reached; daily loss limit expressed as a percentage of the initial balance; simultaneous control of the total maximum volume; and continuous monitoring of the free margin level to avoid operational risk.
The system allows a maximum of 3 simultaneous positions and features real-time spread validation, rejecting entries when the spread exceeds the threshold defined by the trader.
Visual Environment and Configuration
The visual interface has been customized to facilitate market reading during extended sessions: dark brown background, bullish candles in black and bearish candles in white, with EMAs superimposed in yellow and red. All system parameters are adjustable from the inputs panel, allowing the EA's behavior to be adapted to different risk profiles and market conditions.
