Dear Tan, Cannon Trend is one of the best EA I have come across so far. Thanks for your effort and sharing it with trading community. I have been back testing it with different position sizing and risk conditions, hoping to finalize the setting which would align to my style/type of trading approach. While studying the EA in detail, found it bit difficult to understand the entry criteria where Price banh and its limit is defined. Is it possible to share the idea behind defining the price bank values ? Thanks in advance for your support !

Dear Tan, Cannon Trend is one of the best EA I have come across so far. Thanks for your effort and sharing it with trading community. I have been back testing it with different position sizing and risk conditions, hoping to finalize the setting which would align to my style/type of trading approach. While studying the EA in detail, found it bit difficult to understand the entry criteria where Price banh and its limit is defined. Is it possible to share the idea behind defining the price bank values ? Thanks in advance for your support !

To keep it simple here, I recommend focusing on “Price Bands Limit” and “Price Bands Take Profit.” These are displayed as horizontal lines in different colors on the chart, which should help you quickly understand how they work in practice. It works very well for a while, but in the long term it will blow up your account. Tested it with several symbols on different timeframes and settings. Seems to be some kind of martingale.

The documentation already explains the system in detail, and reading it carefully will help you understand how the EA is intended to be used. As mentioned, it performs well for a period of time; in fact, the investor account I shared has been running for more than 6 months. Your warning about long-term risk is valid. However, in many cases the issue is not the EA itself, but users not following the recommendations and risk management guidelines in the documentation. There is no magic wand here, and no system can generate 100% automatic profits without effort and proper understanding.

Trading success is not for everyone. When you win, it’s because of your skill and discipline. When you lose, it’s easy to blame the EA. I strongly recommend that you carefully read all the documentation and understand how the system works before making any judgment. This EA is a tool — not a magic solution. If after reading everything you feel it doesn’t suit your approach or expectations, it’s better to skip it and look for another tool that you believe can automatically bring money to your pocket 100%. i tried it on gold and btc, last night it was ok. today i tried it on btc, it got 3 trades on ranging market, both buy and sell were negative but no issue as the lot size was .01. i dont know what happened,it fired multiple trades at lot size 1. all reds. please help as I really like this.

its a good EA.. i've tried it on demo and live account and and I think it's pretty good. you just have to try and find the right settings. The latest update is pretty good. I hope there won't be any more significant changes because this version is pretty good and has minimal error

Ich habe diese EA nun seit einigen Monaten mit einem Livekonto laufen gehabt. Grundsätzlich performte die EA relativ gut, auch wenn es sich an einigen Tage ganz schön hochgeschaukelt hatte. Heute war dann aber Schluss, durch das Heding war die Position zu groß und es konnte keine neue Position aufgrund aufgebrachten Kapital mehr eröffnet werden. Sehr schade. Wie gesagt, kann Monate super laufen, wenn der Markt aber spinnt und unglücklich, mehrmals hoch und runter geht ist irgendwann auch mit viel Kapital Schluss. Für mich war es das nun mit diese EA. Trotzdem allen weiterhin viel Glück und Erfolg damit.
