Custom Charts Pro Seconds Renko Range

Custom Charts Pro builds seconds charts (S1 … S3600, any value), Renko, Range bars and Tick charts as real MetaTrader 5 custom symbols, from your broker's real ticks. It fills the history first, then keeps every chart updated live, for as many symbols and chart types as you like, from one control panel. The generated charts are normal MT5 charts: your indicators, templates, drawings and Expert Advisors work on them, and so does the Strategy Tester.

Chart types

• Seconds: bars of N seconds (S1, S5, S15, S30, S45, S90 …). Slots follow the server clock and restart at midnight, empty slots are skipped like on normal charts.
• Renko: classic bricks of N points: a new brick after one box in the trend direction, two boxes for a reversal, several bricks at once on fast moves. Box in points, or automatic from ATR(14, H1). Optional wicks show how far price went against the brick while it formed.
• Range bars: a bar closes as soon as its high–low range reaches N points (fixed or automatic from ATR). OHLC are real tick prices.
• Tick charts: one bar every N price ticks.

Bars that match your broker's data

• Bars are built with the same rules as the broker's own M1 bars: Bid price (Last for exchange symbols), tick volume = number of price ticks, spread = minimum spread while the bar is open, real volume for exchange symbols.
• Proof you can check yourself: an S60 chart is identical to the broker's M1 chart. In our tests on EURUSD, XAUUSD and BTCUSD every bar had the same time, open, high, low, close and tick volume, and the same spread except a few bars at the daily rollover.
• The specification of the source symbol is copied (digits, contract size, tick size and value, volume limits, currencies, margin rates), so position sizes, pip values and profit in the tester are the same as on the source.

Time on the chart

• MT5 custom symbols store one bar per minute, so every tool of this kind has to give fast bars "chart times". Custom Charts Pro keeps them as close to the real time as possible: Renko, Range and Tick bars that are at least a minute apart keep their real minute; faster bars are placed on the following minutes.
• Each generated chart shows an info line with the chart type, the source symbol and the real server time of the newest bar, so you always know where you are. No extra time tool needed.
• Use the generated charts on M1 (one custom bar per candle); the info line reminds you when another timeframe is selected.

Strategy Tester and Expert Advisors

• The real ticks are copied to the custom symbol with the chart times (optional), so "Every tick based on real ticks" works on seconds, Range and Tick charts with the real bid/ask of every tick. For Renko, "1 minute OHLC" uses the exact bricks.
• Quotes and trading are allowed 24/7 on the custom symbol, so the tester never rejects an order for "market closed" just because a bar has a shifted chart time.
• Live, every new tick is added to the custom symbol, so EAs and indicators on the generated chart receive OnTick / OnCalculate events as usual. The custom symbol's "basis" property names the source symbol for EAs that trade the original.

Reliable, restart-safe, light

• History backfill from the tick history (days set separately for seconds and for Renko/Range/Tick charts), read in small pieces while the terminal stays responsive; a progress bar shows each chart.
• Restart safe: after a terminal restart every chart is rebuilt from the tick history up to the current time (usually within a minute), so the time the terminal was closed is filled in: no gaps, no duplicate bars. When only the tool reloads (new inputs, other timeframe) each chart continues from its saved state. Weekends and market breaks are handled.
• Symbol suffixes are found automatically: type XAUUSD and the broker's XAUUSD.a / XAUUSDm is used.
• Low CPU: only new ticks are read, on a timer; the panel shows ticks per second and the CPU share of the tool.
• Two copies of the tool never write the same custom symbol (one is shown as "used on another chart").

Control panel

• Lists every generated chart with its type, number of bars, status (loading with progress, live with the newest bar time, error) and buttons to open the chart, rebuild it or delete it with its custom symbol (two clicks).
• Add charts from the panel: symbol, type (Seconds / Renko / Range / Ticks) and size; Open all and Rebuild all. Panel changes are kept after a restart.
• Dark and light themes (automatic from the chart colours), scales with your screen (100–200 % DPI), can be moved and minimised.

Inputs

• Charts: a list such as S15, S30, R, RG, T100 (S = seconds, R = Renko points, RG = Range points, T = ticks; R or RG without a number = automatic box). Add a symbol in front for another market: XAUUSD:R250.
• More source symbols: build the same list for several symbols at once.
• History days for seconds charts and for the other types, copy real ticks on/off, maximum bars per chart, Renko wicks, automatic box multipliers, open charts automatically, panel theme, scale and font, info line on/off, update interval.

How to start

1. Attach Custom Charts Pro to any chart (any timeframe). Allow it a moment to read the tick history the first time.
2. When a chart shows "live", click Open. Add indicators, templates or an EA as on any chart.
3. To backtest on a generated chart, pick the custom symbol (for example EURUSD_S15) in the Strategy Tester, period M1, and the dates of its history.

Good to know

• The Strategy Tester demo of this product shows the panel and builds charts in memory only: MT5 does not allow creating custom symbols inside the tester. Use it on a live chart (demo account is fine).
• Deep history needs the broker's tick history; the terminal downloads it on demand, the first build can take a few minutes for many days of ticks.
• To trade from a generated chart, an EA or trade panel must send orders to the source symbol (the custom symbol itself has no prices at the broker). This is the same for every custom chart tool in MT5.
• It is a chart tool: it does not open trades and does not predict prices.
