Phoenix Palladium Guard

Your account, protected. Whatever is trading on it.

Phoenix Palladium Guard does not trade. It watches your whole account and steps in when a limit you set is reached: it closes all positions, deletes pending orders and keeps new trades out until the limit resets. It works for every EA on the account, EAs from any developer, and your own manual trades.

**Why an account guard?**
Every EA calculates its risk as if it had the whole account to itself. Run four at once with similar settings and you take roughly four times the risk. An EA's own limit only sees its own trades. Palladium looks at the equity of the whole account.

**What it does**
- **Daily loss limit.** In percent of the day's start value, or in money. The day's start value can be your balance, your equity or the higher of the two. You choose the reset hour. After the stop, trading stays blocked until the reset.
- **Maximum total drawdown.** In percent or money, from a fixed start balance or from your highest equity (trailing). After this stop trading stays off until you clear it yourself.
- **Safety margin.** Palladium acts at a percentage of each limit (90 % by default), so a close after a price gap is more likely to stay within your limit.
- **Kill switch.** Anything an EA opens during a stop is closed again. You get an alert when an EA keeps reopening trades.
- **A stop loss on every position.** A position without a stop loss gets one, sized to fit the remaining daily and drawdown budget. A stop that risks too much is moved closer, never further away. Optionally a take profit as a multiple of the stop distance. You get an alert when an EA removes its stop loss again and again.
- **Protect everything, or only some.** Leave the magic-number list empty to guard the whole account including manual trades, or name the magic numbers to protect or to leave alone.
- **Friday close** (optional): closes everything on Friday at the time you set, no weekend gap.
- **News filter** (optional): high or medium impact, per currency, with minutes before and after. Choose to stop new trades or to close everything.
- **Daily profit target** (optional): stop for the day when you have reached what you wanted.
- **Mobile push alerts** (live accounts) and a status panel on your chart.

**Optional: one risk budget for several Phoenix EAs**
Switch on Risk balance and Palladium divides one risk budget between your running Phoenix EAs, with weights you choose. Example: three EAs with equal weight and a total of 1.0 each get a lot factor of 0.33. It only lowers a lot, never above what the EA itself is set to.

**Set-up**
1. Attach Palladium to one chart per terminal. Do not run two on the same terminal.
2. Set your daily limit and drawdown limit.
3. Leave stop loss enforcement on, or set it to your taste.
4. Phoenix EAs can follow Palladium (off, obey, require). Other EAs are guarded without any link.

**Good to know**
- **Works with every EA, but two functions are for Phoenix EAs only:** the risk budget (Risk balance) and the link where an EA waits for Palladium (off, obey, require). The limits, the kill switch and the stop loss enforcement guard every EA and your manual trades, with or without that link.
- Palladium cannot guarantee that a loss never passes a limit. A price gap, news, a weekend opening, slippage or an offline terminal can push a loss past a limit.
- It closes at market. It does not know why a trade was opened and it does not judge your EAs.
- The standard build needs no DLL. It does not switch off Algo Trading of the terminal: the kill switch closes trades opened during a stop and warns you.
- Test the limits on a demo account first, with small limits, so you see what it does.
- It guards the account it runs on. If the terminal or the VPS is offline, nothing is guarded.

**Inputs (the ones that matter)**
`Daily_MaxLoss_Percent`, `MaxDD_Percent`, `MaxDD_Mode`, `Act_At_Percent_Of_Limit`, `Guard_Magics`, `Exclude_Magics`, `Enforce_SL`, `Enforce_TP`, `TP_RR`, `Friday_Close_Enable`, `News_Enable`, `Daily_Profit_Percent`, `RiskBalance_Enable`.

*Phoenix is software, not financial advice. Trading involves risk and you can lose your capital. Any test or result shown is a demo example; past performance says nothing about the future.*
