PropGuard is a risk-management utility. It opens no trades of its own. It watches your whole account — manual trading or any other EA — from a single chart, and steps in before a prop-firm rule ends your challenge.
Why traders lose funded accounts: rarely one bad trade — usually one bad day. A revenge sequence, a missed stop-loss, a news spike. Your firm's dashboard tells you after the breach. PropGuard warns you as you approach a limit, and if you hit it, it flattens the account and keeps it flat for the rest of the day.
WHAT YOU GET
- Daily drawdown guard: day-start snapshot at your firm's rollover hour (server time), soft alert at a configurable percentage of the limit (default 80%), hard breach = close all positions, delete all pending orders, block trading until the next rollover.
- Max total drawdown guard: static (vs initial balance) or trailing (vs equity high-water mark), because firms differ. A breach locks the guard until you deliberately reset it from the dashboard.
- Per-trade risk sentinel: flags any position without a stop-loss after a grace period, and any position risking more than a set percentage of equity. Warning only, or auto-close — your choice.
- Consistency tracker: running total profit and today's share of it, with warnings as you approach a consistency cap such as 40% best-day rules.
- News blackout windows: enter your firm's restricted times as simple HH:MM-HH:MM server-time windows; positions opened inside a window are closed automatically. No external services.
- Dashboard and alerts: a compact panel with every metric and progress bar, plus popup and push notifications on each guard event. Locks survive terminal restarts.
- Firm presets: FTMO, FundedNext, The5ers High Stakes, HyroTrader, or Custom. Every preset value can be overridden.

HONEST LIMITATIONS, SO YOU KNOW EXACTLY WHAT YOU BUY
- MetaTrader offers no API to reject an order before it executes. "Blocking" means PropGuard closes everything immediately and keeps flattening anything new while a lock is active.
- On extreme moves, slippage can carry the account past a limit before closes fill. No software can beat broker execution latency.
- The firm's own server remains the referee. PropGuard is your early warning and emergency brake, not a guarantee.
- Preset values match published firm rules at release time. Rules change — always verify against your firm's current official rules.
