PropGuard Prop Firm Compliance Guardian

This software is an account monitoring and risk control Expert Advisor for MetaTrader 5.

It does not open trades and does not generate trading signals. It monitors the trading account from a single chart and can apply configured risk and trading restrictions while the user trades manually or with another Expert Advisor.

Account Monitoring

The system monitors daily loss, maximum loss, account equity, balance, open positions, total exposure and configured trading limits.

Daily loss and maximum loss limits can be configured using percentage or monetary values. Maximum loss can be configured as static, end of day trailing or intraday trailing.

The user can also configure a safety buffer and the action that should be taken when a configured limit is reached.

Trading Restrictions

The EA can monitor several trading conditions according to the selected configuration.

These include maximum risk per trade, required stop loss, maximum number of open positions, total lot exposure, opposing positions, lot size increases after losing trades, position accumulation on the same symbol, trading frequency and short holding durations.

Each available restriction can be configured according to the user's requirements.

News and Trading Schedule

The tool can use the economic calendar available in the MetaTrader 5 terminal to monitor selected high impact events.

The user can configure the currencies, time interval before and after an event, and the action to be taken.

Trading restrictions can also be configured for selected weekend and end of day periods.

Account Progress

The utility can display the progress of a configured profit target and monitor minimum trading days.

It can also calculate configured consistency and best day information from the account trading history.

These functions provide information about the account status. They do not guarantee compliance with the current rules of any prop firm.

Trading History Analysis

The software includes analysis functions based on the trading history available in the account.

Monte Carlo Simulation uses historical trades to generate statistical simulations. The results can include performance distributions, drawdown information and probability based risk measurements.

Edge X-Ray groups historical trading results by symbol, trading session and day of week.

Broker Integrity Monitor records execution related information such as spread and slippage and can be used to review execution conditions.

Firm Presets

The EA provides predefined configuration starting points for several common account models, including 1-Step, 2-Step, Static Drawdown and Trailing Drawdown.

Presets are configuration defaults. The user is responsible for checking the current rules of the selected prop firm and adjusting the settings when necessary.

Panel

The panel displays the current account status and configured protection conditions.

The panel can display account loss limits, profit target progress, position exposure, rule status and notifications.

Available controls include Flatten, Reset and Pause.

Notifications can be configured for popup messages, sound, push notifications and email.

Operation

The EA is attached to one chart. The chart does not determine which positions are monitored.

The Expert Advisor monitors the account and applies the configured rules to the account positions and trading activity.

When a configured protection condition is reached, the system performs the selected action.

Compatibility

The software can be used with hedging and netting accounts.

The Expert Advisor can monitor positions from the complete account rather than only positions opened from the chart where it is attached.

Magic Number filtering can be used when the user wants to define which positions or Expert Advisors are included in a particular monitoring scope.

Configuration

The main configuration areas include account basis, daily loss, maximum loss, news filter, weekend and end of day periods, profit target, minimum trading days, consistency, risk per trade, stop loss requirements, hedging detection, martingale detection, grid detection, overtrading detection, exposure limits, analysis settings, execution settings, notifications and panel settings.

The system does not open trades and does not provide trading signals.

It does not guarantee profits, challenge results or payouts.

The software is intended to monitor account conditions and apply user configured restrictions. Market conditions, broker execution, spread, slippage and trading decisions remain outside the control of the software.

Prop firm rules may change. Users should verify the current rules of their prop firm and configure the Expert Advisor accordingly.

The EA uses the economic calendar data provided by the MetaTrader 5 terminal for its news related functions.

Analysis results depend on the trading history and the parameters selected by the user.
