TCL Super RSI
- Indicatori
- Versione: 1.4
TCL Super RSI is a Relative Strength Index (RSI) indicator for MetaTrader 4 with timeframe-adaptive settings. It detects the chart's timeframe and applies a different RSI period and overbought/oversold threshold optimised for that timeframe, ranging from a 7-period RSI for M1 scalping to a longer-period smoothed RSI for Daily and Monthly charts.
How It Works
The standard 14-period RSI is a single fixed setting that responds differently on different timeframes. On fast charts the same period is too slow; on slow charts it produces noisy signals. This indicator stores a separate RSI period and pair of overbought/oversold thresholds for each of the nine MetaTrader timeframes (M1 through MN) and switches them automatically when the chart timeframe changes.
Components
- Timeframe Detection — the indicator reads the chart's timeframe at start and applies the matching configuration.
- Color-Coded RSI Line — the line color changes based on the zone: Neutral, Overbought, or Oversold.
- Per-Timeframe Thresholds — overbought and oversold levels are configurable separately for each of the nine timeframes.
- Divergence Alerts — optional alerts for bullish and bearish RSI divergence.
Inputs
- Max bars to draw — limits history depth for performance (default 1000, 0 = all)
- Applied Price — price source for the RSI calculation (default Close)
- Line Thickness — visual width of the RSI line (default 3)
- Inside Zone Color, Overbought Color, Oversold Color — line colors per state
- For each of M1, M5, M15, M30, H1, H4, D1, W1, MN: RSI Period, Overbought Level, Oversold Level (defaults tuned per timeframe)
Compatibility
The indicator works on MetaTrader 4. It is compatible with all instruments. Settings switch automatically when the chart timeframe changes.
