Delta Volume Profile Zones is a compact volume-profile indicator for traders who want price-level context without turning the chart into a crowded footprint screen.
It builds a rolling profile from recent candles, separates estimated bullish and bearish participation, and marks the key zones traders usually watch: Point of Control, Value Area High, Value Area Low, high-volume nodes, and low-volume areas.
Use it to:
- Identify where recent trading activity is concentrated.
- Find the Point of Control as the main acceptance level for the current lookback.
- Use Value Area High and Value Area Low as context for rotations, breakouts, and mean reversion.
- Spot high-volume nodes that may act as reaction zones.
- Spot low-volume areas where price may move quickly through thin participation.
- Compare bullish and bearish volume pressure inside each profile row.
What it shows:
- Right-side volume profile drawn directly on the price chart.
- Green profile segments for estimated bullish participation.
- Red profile segments for estimated bearish participation.
- Gold POC line for the highest-volume price row.
- Cyan VAH and VAL lines for the selected value area.
- Optional high-volume and low-volume zone highlights.

Basic use:
- Add the indicator to the chart.
- Start with the default lookback and row settings.
- Watch the POC to see where price is currently being accepted.
- Use VAH and VAL to frame balanced and stretched price areas.
- Use high-volume and low-volume rows as context, not as standalone trade signals.
Inputs:
- LookbackBars : number of recent candles used to build the profile.
- ProfileRows : number of price rows in the profile.
- ProfileWidthBars : maximum visual width of the profile.
- ValueAreaPercent : percentage of total volume included in the value area.
- SplitBullBearVolume : separates estimated bullish and bearish volume inside each row.
- ShowPointOfControl , ShowValueArea , and ShowHighLowVolumeZones : control the main visual layers.
- ShowSignals : enables chart arrows and signal-buffer output.
- SignalScanBars : number of recent bars checked for breakout and rejection signals.
- MinSignalDistanceBars : minimum spacing between chart arrows.
- SignalArrowOffsetPoints : distance between arrows and candles.
Buffer:
- Buffer 0: current Point of Control price.
- Buffer 1: current signal value.
- Buffer 2: buy arrow price.
- Buffer 3: sell arrow price.
Signal values:
- 1 : bullish POC cross.
- 2 : bullish VAL rejection.
- 3 : bullish VAH breakout.
- 4 : current bullish POC bias.
- -1 : bearish POC cross.
- -2 : bearish VAH rejection.
- -3 : bearish VAL breakdown.
- -4 : current bearish POC bias.
