Artemis FX HFT Throttle EA
Artemis FX HFT Throttle EA is a MetaTrader 4 Expert Advisor for traders who want short-term FX automation with professional execution discipline built in. Rather than firing unlimited orders at the broker, Artemis combines fast chart-symbol trading logic with Artemis Throttle Guard — a dedicated execution-control layer designed to manage request frequency, limit trading bursts, handle broker errors, and reduce reckless execution behaviour.
By default the EA is unrestricted to any single pair. Attach it to your chosen FX chart and it trades that symbol. An optional symbol whitelist is available for traders who prefer to limit activity to specific pairs.
Artemis Throttle Guard
The defining feature of this EA is Throttle Guard. Rather than allowing unchecked high-frequency activity, it gives the trader direct control over how the EA interacts with the broker. Configurable limits include maximum trade requests per day, separate daily caps on OrderSend, OrderClose, OrderModify, and OrderDelete attempts, minimum time between actions, maximum actions per minute, and consecutive error protection. Failed attempts can optionally count against daily limits. Counters persist through terminal restarts and reset automatically at the broker server day boundary. An optional throttle lock engages when daily limits are reached.
Risk management
Artemis FX includes a full risk layer supporting fixed lot or risk-percent position sizing, stop loss and take profit, maximum open trades, maximum lot per trade, maximum total lots, daily loss limit, daily drawdown limit, open risk limit, and maximum daily losing trades. An optional profit target lock and emergency close-all on risk breach are also available.
Execution control
Execution quality filters include maximum spread, average spread, maximum spread duration, slippage control, cooldown periods after close and after loss, a retry limiter, and a broker error window. Stop level and freeze level diagnostics are displayed directly in the dashboard to help identify broker-side execution constraints before they cause problems.
Schedule and news pause
Trading activity is controlled through configurable weekday filters, start and end time, Friday cutoff, a manual news pause window, and additional custom pause windows. Broker server time is displayed in the panel so schedule settings are easy to verify.
Dashboard and runtime controls
Artemis FX includes a multi-tab blue and silver dashboard with sections covering live account status, Throttle Guard usage, risk exposure, execution conditions, broker diagnostics, schedule settings, trade history, performance statistics, EA configuration, a runtime event log, and a help reference. Two runtime buttons — Pause/Resume and Close — allow the trader to suspend trading or close all managed positions directly from the chart without changing input settings.
Preset files and recommended use
Four preset files are included — Conservative, Balanced, Aggressive, and BrokerSafe. First-time users should attach the EA to their chosen FX chart, load the Conservative or BrokerSafe preset, and run on a demo account first. Check the DIAG and GUARD tabs to confirm spread conditions, broker digits, stop level, and schedule settings before committing to live trading with real lot sizes.
Important
Performance varies depending on broker spread, slippage, execution quality, symbol, timeframe, account type, and market conditions. No EA can guarantee profit or broker acceptance. Always test thoroughly before using live funds.
