Scopo e concetto

GannZigZagMACD è un indicatore tecnico ibrido per la piattaforma MetaTrader 5 che combina il classico indicatore MACD con elementi dello zigzag di Gann. È progettato per identificare inversioni di trend e generare segnali di trading basati su pattern estremi.

L'idea principale dell'indicatore è rilevare massimi e minimi significativi utilizzando il metodo di Gann, per poi proiettare questi segnali sull'istogramma MACD.

Principio di funzionamento

Componenti principali:

  1. MACD classico - calcola la differenza tra le medie mobili esponenziali veloce (12 periodi) e lenta (26 periodi)

  2. Linea del segnale - media mobile smussata dell'istogramma MACD (predefinita: EMA 9 periodi)

  3. Algoritmo di Gann - determina estremi significativi basati su un intervallo di barre specificato (GSv_range)

  4. Frecce del segnale - frecce invertite sull'istogramma MACD che indicano potenziali punti di ingresso

Meccanismo di generazione dei segnali:

L'indicatore utilizza una logica invertita:

  • Frecce verdi verso l'alto (233) → Segnali di VENDITA

  • Frecce rosse verso il basso (234) → Segnali di ACQUISTO

I segnali vengono generati quando l'algoritmo di Gann identifica un'inversione di trend significativa, e questa inversione viene proiettata sul valore attuale dell'istogramma MACD.

Interfaccia e visualizzazione

Elementi visualizzati:

  1. Istogramma blu - istogramma MACD principale

  2. Linea gialla - linea del segnale MACD

  3. Frecce verdi - indicano VENDITA (disegnate sui valori dell'istogramma)

  4. Frecce rosse - indicano ACQUISTO (disegnate sui valori dell'istogramma)

Parametri e impostazioni

Gruppo "Parametri GannZIGZAG":

  • GSv_range (13) - intervallo per determinare la significatività degli estremi in barre

    • Valori più piccoli generano segnali più frequentemente

    • Valori più grandi forniscono segnali più affidabili ma meno frequenti

  • Shift (0) - spostamento orizzontale dell'indicatore in barre

    • Generalmente lasciato a 0

Gruppo "Parametri MACD":

  • fastPeriod (12) - periodo dell'EMA veloce

  • fastMethod (MODE_EMA) - metodo di calcolo per la MA veloce (SMA, EMA, SMMA, LWMA)

  • fastPrice (PRICE_CLOSE) - prezzo per calcolare la MA veloce

  • slowPeriod (26) - periodo dell'EMA lenta

  • slowMethod (MODE_EMA) - metodo di calcolo per la MA lenta

  • slowPrice (PRICE_CLOSE) - prezzo per calcolare la MA lenta

  • signalPeriod (9) - periodo della linea del segnale

  • signalMethod (MODE_EMA) - metodo di calcolo per la linea del segnale

Come lavorare con l'indicatore

Segnali di trading:

  1. Segnale di ACQUISTO (long):

    • Apparizione di una freccia rossa verso il basso sull'istogramma MACD

    • Il MACD dovrebbe trovarsi in un'area favorevole all'inversione (es.: zona negativa profonda per inversione rialzista)

  2. Segnale di VENDITA (short):

    • Apparizione di una freccia verde verso l'alto sull'istogramma MACD

    • Il MACD dovrebbe trovarsi in un'area favorevole all'inversione (es.: zona positiva elevata per inversione ribassista)

Raccomandazioni d'uso:

  1. Conferma dei segnali:

    • Confermare preferibilmente i segnali con altri indicatori (RSI, Stocastico)

    • Osservare le divergenze tra prezzo e MACD

    • Considerare i livelli di supporto/resistenza

  2. Filtraggio dei falsi segnali:

    • Utilizzare timeframe più lunghi per segnali più affidabili

    • Regolare GSv_range in base alla volatilità del mercato

    • Prestare attenzione alla forza del trend

  3. Gestione del rischio:

    • Posizionare uno stop-loss oltre l'estremo più vicino

    • Utilizzare un trailing stop quando il prezzo si muove a favore

    • Calcolare un rapporto rischio/rendimento di almeno 1:2

Caratteristiche e limitazioni

Caratteristiche tecniche:

  1. Logica invertita - le frecce hanno significati opposti (alto = vendere, basso = comprare)

  2. Generazione asincrona - i segnali non compaiono su ogni barra, solo quando le condizioni di Gann sono soddisfatte

  3. Tracciamento ritardato - l'indicatore richiede un certo numero di barre per l'inizializzazione (min_rates_total)

  4. Pulizia delle vecchie frecce - alla comparsa di un nuovo segnale, le frecce precedenti nell'area vengono cancellate

Limitazioni:

  1. Ritardo - come tutti gli indicatori basati su medie mobili, può presentare ritardi

  2. Falsi segnali in mercati laterali - può generare molti falsi segnali durante movimenti laterali

  3. Dipendenza dalle impostazioni - la sensibilità dipende fortemente dal parametro GSv_range

  4. Non adatto allo scalping - a causa dell'algoritmo di Gann, i segnali appaiono raramente

Parametri ottimali

Per diversi timeframe:

  • M1-M15 (scalping): GSv_range = 5-8

  • M30-H1 (day trading): GSv_range = 10-15

  • H4-D1 (swing trading): GSv_range = 15-25

  • W1-MN (investimento): GSv_range = 20-40

Per diversi mercati:

  • Forex (coppie maggiori): GSv_range = 10-15

  • Azioni: GSv_range = 15-25

  • Criptovalute (alta volatilità): GSv_range = 20-30

  • Materie prime (petrolio, oro): GSv_range = 12-20

Consigli pratici

  1. Impostazioni iniziali: Iniziare con GSv_range = 13 e parametri MACD standard

  2. Test: Eseguire backtest su dati storici prima del trading reale

  3. Combinazione: Utilizzare insieme a indicatori di trend (ADX, ATR)

  4. Gestione del capitale: Non rischiare più dell'1-2% per trade

  5. Registrazione: Tenere un diario di trading per analizzare l'efficacia dei segnali
