Aurum Apex Gold trades one instrument -- XAUUSD -- with one idea: institutions
fill large orders where retail stops sit, and the reversal that follows is
tradable when, and only when, price confirms it.
How a trade is built
1. Liquidity sweep. A tracked pool of resting orders (previous day/week
high or low, session extreme, equal highs/lows, untapped swing) is
penetrated and then reclaimed. Penetration and reclaim are both measured in
ATR, never in fixed points, so the logic scales with volatility.
2. Market structure shift. Price must then close through the protecting
swing -- a close, not a wick.
3. Displacement. The breaking candle is scored 0-100 on body/ATR, body/range,
close location, structure break, gap creation and volume. Weak breaks are
discarded.
4. Point of interest. The fair value gap, order block or breaker created by
that displacement leg becomes the entry zone.
5. Score and reward:risk gates. Eight weighted components (HTF bias, sweep,
structure, displacement, POI quality, premium/discount, session, volatility
regime) must clear a threshold, and the nearest opposing liquidity target
must be worth at least 1.5R, or the setup is skipped.
What it will not do
- No martingale. No grid. No averaging down. No recovery lot sizing.
- No trade is ever opened without a stop loss.
- Nothing repaints: every decision is taken on closed bars, and a swing point is
only used after its confirmation bars have closed.
- No DLLs, no external dependencies, no web calls.
Risk control
Position size comes from your stop distance and your account's live tick value,
targeting a fixed % of equity. On top of that: daily and weekly loss caps, a
drawdown kill switch, a consecutive-loss throttle, a trades-per-day cap, a
spread filter, an abnormal-candle pause and a rollover blackout.
Prop-firm mode
One switch turns on a guard that reads your firm's daily and overall loss
limits, sizes to a configurable fraction of those budgets, supports trailing
drawdown, and drops to micro risk once the phase target is reached so you can
finish minimum trading days without giving the target back.
Setup
Attach to any XAUUSD chart, pick a risk preset, done. Session times default to
a UTC+0 server clock; if your broker differs, shift the session inputs. Use the

Honest notes
- This EA is validated on XAUUSD only. It will run on other symbols, and it will
tell you in the log and on the panel that it is doing so without evidence.
- Published backtests are 1-minute OHLC modelling on a single broker's history.
Your broker's spread and fills will differ. Run the free demo yourself.
- Returns scale with the risk preset and so does drawdown. The Growth preset is
not a low-drawdown setting and is not sold as one.
