Discussion of article "How to Subscribe to Trading Signals" - page 34

It's information message about volume difference between subscriber(you) and signal provider. You could copy signals without any issues.

it is copying ok, but provider is making trade 0.1 lot and my copy trade is only 0.01 because set use 5% then 30% of equity...

so I set "use 95% of equity" and is now closer to provider trade size

the leverage is little different, provider 500, mine is 400 and account equity is similar provider

So question, this percentage of equity setting is useful if provider is trading much bigger lot sizes or had bigger equity? but if accounts are similar, percentage should be equal (or 95%)?  ...thanks for the help

This is option to control the risk of the subscribers account. Please read this FAQ and this.

Although it doesn't look like much, the difference in your leverage is going to make a significant difference to the lot size calculation. Add that to the 5% you lose when setting the equity to 95% (I wish it could be 100%!!), currency conversion, rounding etc and it quickly adds up.

You can see all of the steps MT uses to set the lot sizes here

Help! I subscribed to the signals and not all signals are displayed, I looked at the history of the supplier he had a position I do not, what does it depend on can it be that I have a small depo and he automatically puts the minimum lot and therefore the minimum positions so that the total lot would be under the depo? Or another reason and I did something wrong!

Many answers can be found in the terminal in the "Journal" tab.

Wrong. In the "Log" tab, right-click on any record and select "Open" - the ...\Logs folder will open, where the logs are located.

Yes, thank you! I hope I got it right, there was no connection with the terminal and the limit on the deposit was no more than 5%.

thanks appreciate your help, i understand it now, but seems this setting is not very helpful and does little to control risk considering the provider can vary the lot size.

I'm missing the Signals tab
