Problem linking notifications and messaging system via MetaQuotes ID on Android - page 4

I'm still experiencing this issue on both my Android and iPhone devices as of today, October 29th, 2025.
My MetaTrader 5 push notifications still worked on Sunday night, October 26th, 2025 (used them with BTCUSD). From Monday early hours no more push notifications arrived and have not yet resumed on any of my devices (Android or iOS) since then, even after reinstalling and testing with multiple brokers. The same MetaQuotes IDs were issued even after disabling backup, clearing caches, restarting device and reinstalling MT5. Push notifications for those MetaQuote IDs are clearly stuck and not working. Is there anything I could do to get push notifications for my MetaQuote IDs working again, or it is something only MetaQuotes can fix? If it is the latter are you MetaQuotes people working on it?

Additionally, can anybody tell me where to check whether MT5 push notification servers are working or not? At some places I saw http://push.metatrader5.com/ and https://notifications.mql5.net mentioned, but neither seem to exist. Is there a REST API endpoint we could use to verify whether it is a central issue or a local issue limited to our devices?

Hi,

For the users who are in trouble with this issue, you can try the following steps to see if it works for you (at least, it works for me)

1 - You install again the mt5 platform from the broker you are trading on another computer (if you install on the same computer, just change the install directory)

2 - Launch the app and no need to login to any trade account. Set Enable Push notification to your mobile mt5 and send a test to see if it works.

3 - If yes, select File - Open Data Folder and access to "config" folder then copy the file "servers.dat"

4 - Back to your non-working mt5 platform, select File - Open Data Folder and access to "config" folder.

5 - Then close this non-working mt5 that is running.

6 - Paste the "servers.dat" at step 3 to the "config" folder at step 4

7 - Then relaunch the non-working one and check if Push notification is resolved.

Please try, hope it also works for you guys !

I faced the problem with Android and for me it doesn't matter about Android or Iphone, the issue is MT5 terminal cannot connect to server to send notification, if the connection is fine, the message will be pushed to mobile. It worked before Monday 27-Oct !

My MT5 is running on a VPS :)

I see. So for you, your Mt5 Desktop is open and running for you to receive the notifications on your mobile phone is that right?

Because i have never needed to on my Desktop Mt5 for my mobile to be notified. Until this worldwide Mt5 issue surfaced last weekend

Push notifications suddenly stopped."

Hi guys,

Ive been trading using Mt5 for years not really any problems I couldn't workout.
But this has got me.
Monday morning, no push notifications.
Checked notifications where enabled etc. All good.
Little bit of messing around noticed my MQID number was different. So changed it to match. Clicked test. Test came through, all good.

Place a few trades as usual via mobile, no mobile notifications to say trade had been place. Edit the trade, no push notifications. Closed the trade no notifications Etc. In short no event notifications at all.
When the desktop is on and notifications from local terminal is selected then notifications come through.
But I do nothing from my desktop..!!
Ive deleted apps, deleted caches, changed MQID back and forth, done everything imaginable.
Nothing works.
I used to get journal and trading activity, take profit and stop loss notifications.
Im thinking this has to be server side, but im getting no help from my broker at all.

Any ideas..?
Thanks in advance
