Сергей Таболин:

You're right, not from the beginning. But in the period I've been reading, 90% of the posts are water. And it's dirty water. Isn't it enough to stir things up? It won't do anyone any good, that's for sure.

It would be more accurate to say, "90% of A_K's posts are water. Address your appeal to him.

Alexander_K:

Can you help me to beat trends completely?

I need a mathematical description of the trend - the parameters that characterise it.

In terms of physics, I'm trying to apply it today (no result so far), but the unit g/cm3 makes you think ;) :

Формула плотности вещества в физике
  • www.webmath.ru

Nah, Rena - it's all nonsense.

I double-checked it a billion times today on all pairs on tick data.

The trend/float key is the non-parametric kurtosis of the distribution of tick increments when the sample is large enough. When the kurtosis is < 20 it's a flat, when it's >20 it's a trend.

I give you this secret as one of legendary personalities of this forum.

You know where you will see the proof of it.

I posted this trick long time ago, and oddly enough, in this very thread.

It's worthy of attention if there are no G.P.S.

Chegevara has caught on to this feature too:

Добрый вечер, уважаемые трейдеры! Решил было на какое-то время покинуть форум, и сразу как-то скучно стало:)))) А просто читать, увы - неинтересно...

What's up with the asymmetry and there's nothing there. And he galloped past the excess :)))

Alexander_K:

What's up with the asymmetry and there's nothing there. And I ran at a gallop past the asymmetry : )))

All I see and accentuate for myself, just need to check... ;)

I can't finish this one, I want to smooth out the cotier, so that the signal doesn't slow down especially:

When I finish, I'll come back to statistics.

I'll finish, I'll come back to the statistics.

You don't have to count the excess as a normal 4th moment of NE, but like this:

It would be more accurate to say "90% of A_K's posts are water".

Didusya, when are you going to settle down? It's winter. Drink vodka and sleep. It's beautiful! Why are you meddling in your own business?

It deserves attention if there are no GEPs.

Chegevara has caught on to this chip as well:

about normal distribution ;)

it's the hypothesis.

see if the observation window runs over the history - is it or is it not
