1. the comparison with C++ is not someone's whim, but a necessity of life.
2. This thread is the main (un)official one for bug-reports. The guys are busy with their job. And you're here flapping your brains.
I'm not arguing with that. Vital, so vital... I don't know if I'm a deadbeat, but I don't need it ))))
Guys, you're smearing snot, this isn't right, this isn't right... Are you following this thread? This is the first time this issue (and others) has been raised? Then it gets lost among other questions. Then another genius does not use a search (here a reproach to the site) again begins to discuss ...
I suggested that you all create a separate thread, those who need it will see and respond. But no, nobody wants to!
I've opened a thread for you here. Feel free to discuss, decide, and be indignant!

Guys, you're just smearing snot, ay this is wrong, ay that's the wrong way... Are you following this thread? This is the first time this issue (and others) has been raised? Then it gets lost among other questions. Then another genius does not use a search (here a reproach to the site) again begins to discuss ...

What you are saying is approximately the following:
- If you're so smart, why don't you walk in formation?
- If you want to walk unmarked, here's a separate place for you. And here, please, only walk at a front rank step.
what you're saying is roughly the following:
it's simpler out there - the swagger is overrated.
ZS: hmmm, in how many years of using the internet, this is the first time I've ever written BSV ( lurkmore to help), but I don't see any other option
I will duplicate my suggestion here.
Forum on trading, automated trading systems and testing trading strategies
If i had not done so already, i would not know what to do and what to do.

I suggest to make a section for technical problems with MT and MQL, especially for bugs and suggestions. Since the Service Desk was closed it has become a real necessity. In fact every self-respecting company has a technical section on the forum. But what we see here is only a "General Discussion" that represents a chaotic dump where talks about women and white collar jobs are mixed with trading and coding. And somewhere in the background are discussed problems of the platform itself. And even there, everything is piled into one heap, mixed with the flooding, and important issues often disappear from the developers' field of vision. There are cases when a post has to be duplicated several times before it is seen by someone in the development team, especially in the "New Platform Version..." and "bugs, bugs, questions" threads. The developers don't even show up in other threads, so creating a separate thread for each question (as recommended after the service-desk was closed) is a useless thing. Developers hardly ever go into them. They even cannot cope with their main branches. But this is not because there are too many questions, but because everything is chaotic and unsystematic.
That's why we need a separate section. I would even divide it in two sections: separately for MT and separately for MQL. This would be more convenient, primarily for developers: the one who deals directly with the platform reads one section, and the one who deals with the language - the other one. And moderators will be able to effectively divide the sphere of influence.
Each question will have its own thread. Some minimum design requirements can be defined. In essence, it will be a request, as in the service-desk. Only everything is public.
Other users may discuss and give advice. But only clearly and to the point. Without any nonsense in the vein of "I've never grasped the subject, but I'm sick of you with your C++". This all stems partly from unsystematic forum. A person has come to the forum to listen to Alexey Volchansky's bikes and he encounters subjects about some bugs and hated C++. Of course, he gets cognitive dissonance, nervous breakdown and diarrhea. Therefore, it's better to protect him/her from excessive information.
If the thread's subject is exhausted and the question is resolved, the moderator may close it.
If the topic duplicates an existing one, the moderator can also close it by giving a link to another thread.
All in all, this would be very efficient and productive.
Thanks, I got it. The menuspy program I picked up here was very helpful.
So did you manage to select a menu item?
If not, here you go:
#define WM_COMMAND 0x0111 SendMessageW( handle, WM_COMMAND, itemId, 0 );
So did you manage to select a menu item?
I did, but thanks anyway.
