Discussion of article "Why Virtual Hosting On The MetaTrader 4 And MetaTrader 5 Is Better Than Usual VPS" - page 11

vbujym:

today even on the news about eurozone inflation the Expert Advisor worked better from a computer than on a virtual machine, that's why I wrote this post.

You probably live near the server of DC.

From my house the ping to the server is several times worse.

Gentlemen, have you not seen pings of 0.35 ms in our shared hosting and you are trying to find a case with a far away trading server to demonstrate a higher ping?

And you did not even specify the name of the trading server.

I live in the city of Pskov.

BCS-Real broker's server.

at home ping 15ms

From your server the minimum ping is 42ms in the Netherlands, the rest is even higher.

Yes I have not seen ping less than 1 on your hosting.

This is because BCS has a server in Russia. And almost all broker servers are located in Europe, England, America and Hong Kong/Singapore. We deployed the network there to cover them.

Now we are actively working on MT5 implementation at Russian stock brokers and will deploy virtual servers in Russia in some time.

To see pings less than 1 ms, select demo accounts on other companies.

I installed a VPS server from amazon (free for 1 year) put there MT4 terminal, in the navigator there is an Expert Advisor, but on the chart window I can not drag it!!!! Maybe someone knows what I did or set up wrong...?

In general, I use webzilla USA, a built-in VPN, and I get many times the speed advantage compared to trading from a computer in Belarus. Although, ping is on the last place in importance when trading with pending orders far from the price. I use integrated hosting just for the sake of interest, but I like the idea of such integrations in the terminal very much. It is very convenient.

Register a virtual server is a good idea, but how can I register a virtual server in this case as is shown in the screenshot. How can I register a virtual server in this case?

If our internet is unstable, we'll still have order problems. However, the orders will be faster and more reliable, right?

Hi, i want to use the virtual hosting but i can not see it in my platvorm. I use a MT$ platvorm of ICM markets. Anybody know how to order the virtual hosting ?

Gentlemen!

When will it be possible to use virtual hosting on MT5?

In addition, I would like to know when the server in Moscow will be available, as I trade on FORTS through OPEN.
