Trying to automate my system

Hello, and thank you all for this great forum and Advanced Elite section. It's well worth the money.

The reason for this my first post here is that I feel that my system is pretty much complete and now I'm trying to find a way to automate it so I don't have to spend so much time in front of my computer.

I have a little programming experience but not enough to create an EA by myself.

However I've heard about tools that allow people like me to create robots without much programming experience, but I have been unable to find them.

Do any of you know about these tools/programs? I need them to be able to automate long and short orders when all my MT4 indicators are aligned.

Appreciate any help.

The first tool is free and I used it many times.

Gordago is/was commercial and I bought it for 10 or 15 dollars long time ago but not using anymore.

I think - first tool is better anyway as many people are using it.

3. Besides, there are some templates to create EAs - posted on the forum by few threads. If you have at least very limited mql4 knowledge so you can use it by changing your indicators inside EAs, and so on. Templates are good in case we cam change any indicator, as any (and many indicators, and do anything without asking the programmers about "please add one more indicator to my EA". I used templates for EMA crossing EAs (to create them).

Hello, it appears I cannot create an EA with custom indicators in the first link? Or am I missing something.

I know that many people complained about this limitation and may be - it is already possible. Try to see ... but may be - not, impossible for icustom.

Try to look at templates (options #3).

I used it a lot created many indicators.

Templates are just the codes example with everything inside with explanation and all you need to od is just insert your custom indicators and delete some useless functions.

 

Or just ask for the EA to be created, use the code as template and after that - change this code by yourself. In this way - I made Terminator Absolute EA and SyberiaASCTrend EA (for elite section - you can check).

 

Indicator list full...

I want to test some more indicators but my indicator list is full and no new indicators will show up when i move them into the folder.

Moving my indicators in experts/indicators to a new folder does nothing.

Experts, what do I do?

 

It is a problem with metatrader If I remember correctly it happens when there is more than 512 files in indicators folder

You need to

  • remove some indicators from the indicators folder
  • or simply copy the whole metatrader to some other location, remove everything from indicators folder and then copy only the ones you want to test

Hello guys, I have another "problem" here!

Ok, I'm on vacation here and using my laptop without by big 22" LCD.

What has happened now is that the alert box window that I had when using my big LCD won't pop-up ever since I'm only using my laptop screen.

Although I know the alerts are displayed in the 'experts' tab this is not ideal as that tab is often cluttered by other notifications.

Anyone knows how to get my precious pop-up window back?

Can you create an EA based on the following parameters:

EUR/USD 5 minute tf

Setup: after Labtrend indicator shows up

trigger: confirmation from dynamic zone macd, qqe histo, and Ehlers fisher transform

Exit: tp is 15 with sl set at one tick more/less than last tanganjiwa indicator or if an opposite direction confirmation then it should close the current position and open a new position
