What is a "HA"?

PascalD:
What is a "HA"?

generally it is used for Heiken Ashi but here i dont know what he means for.

Boy...I miss 4X...with his deep insights...

Noticed some issues in this indicator that needed attention. here is the cleaned up and made user friendly too version : cci_adaptive_smoother_1_2.mq4

And this version too : cci_vhf_adaptive.mq4

_________________

This version uses VHF for adapting instead of standard deviation. Also it s using an experimental way of VHF adapting (different from the other adaptive versions using VHF adapting). That way might be a subject of changes in the future

And immediately this version : cci_vhf_adaptive_1_1.mq4

This one is probably going to be kept : it solves the issue of having (or not having periods longer than the basic period (which is important - if we do not have periods longer than the base period, it is like chopping the calculating period to make it artificially faster) and keeps the whole thing in expected bounds. Here is the comparison of previous version (upper) and this version (lower) - this version tends to react faster to changes and still keeps the long period at place as it should

I thought so too, but I do not understand the idea (how would it be used)
