Scalp to freedom 10-20 pips a trade...guaranteed? - page 38

fxbs:
1. not repaint - changing values on open bar 2. Linux, don't do that (check post above) - let somebody else to do it (and to enjoy all the complaints, blames and criticism) : )))))))))))))))))

Let me explain with a very simple example:

Hi Linuxuser

Hi Linuxuser... I am definitely not a coder, is there an example you

could show, like with the forexfreedombarsv3 or something like that

that would show me the code to replace? I really want to fix this issue in 3 indicators I use often.

Thanks for your help

Brian

Linuxser:
Oh no. Just a simple mod in the code OF ANY mtf would avoid repaint. Problem is almost all indies are coded to loop on every tick. Coders just need to loop on bar close.

I have to take a look to this one.

Because I become a really simple setup trader I made something on most classic indies. However, I have to say results could disappoint. You only get a new value on the lower TF when the higher TF is closed.

Maybe a better result will get hit with ratio indies. But that's another history.

Anyway, my main task on these days is the RAS. I will take a look later.

I want to remember I'm not a pro coder and anything I want to takes me hours/days just to see pro coders doing later in minutes.

Let me explain with a very simple example:

hmmm...that cod wold be hard to decomp (

btw. Mladen made SW good - remember - but indtesd he got what? - "but your SW too slow! another one much faster (right - it shifted left 6 bars - and filling gap with the crap on the way)

Bookkeeper - regrets; kroufr schaff- even not for trade, just 4 marking trend - still got blame -lugging, signals too late, (fractals or zz - everybody complaints but wants to show HH LL pick right on (not 1 or 2brs after...) etc.etc

lesson - very unthankfull thing to do, everybody who go there - regrets : )))))

OK guys

thanks Linuxser and fxbs I appreciate it..I will do so!

thanks

any one useing thise sys now?

not bad for me with combination RealMACD(last discussed) & FFB V.3 at TF 5M

its gains 80 : 20 profit/loss, no matter to repaint its a risk for much more profit

my hopes is : may anyone help us to make this combination become EA ?

EA setting :

TF = 5M

TP = 30 pips

Trailing stop = 15 pips

readies = combination crossed RealMACD & same colours FFB V.3, Open Position at second bars of FFB V.3 with same colours

Please... & Thanks Very much

Forex Freedom Bars

After much use over some time, this is my favorite forex freedom

bars. I suggest putting it 2 times on your charts, one time

put it on as discussed here ie cci 2 2 2 2 and then time

frame 5, 15, 30, 30 or 5 ,15, 30, 60

and then the second ff bars set to the same time frame, ie

if I am trading the 5 min charts I may put time frame

15 15 15 15 and then 4 different cci that you like

to use. This is a very good filter when put together

with the first forex freedom bars.. you are seeing

trend over time frame and then trend also over

different cci on next higher time frame (I recommend)

you could do it on the same time frame 5 for example,

but for me I prefer using the 15 min setting for this second

ff bars if I am trading the 5 min charts and using for example

cci 7, 14, 21 and 50 another set could be 5, 14, 20, 63

there are tons of options but choose your four cci you

want to use as a filter that they all would have to be

long for the bars to all be green and all below 0 for the

bars to be red... so I just don't recommend using

very high cci like 102 or 252 even on the 5 min tf

but that is my personal choice from my experience.

All the best

Brian

And one last quick note

There are so many ways to filter signals like these.. but

its up to personal choice and testing.

For many traders it won't hurt to put on the flattrand

with this system because it certainly can help reduce some whipsaw

trades even further.. ie it shows the macd agrees

or not with the trade as well..

I personally don't see the purpose in using some

"easy" macd like 3 7 9 or 4 8 9, or such as these

because they dont really filter much. If you want to filter

you want to have the macd high enough it wont say yes

to the weakest mini trends and so long that you only

can catch the biggest trends... but also too high

and you risk catching more plays that are in trends that are

exhausted before you get in.. ie balance. LOL

I would say personally test settings such as these

8 17 9

5 35 5

12 26 9

8 13 21

6 13 9

And sure you could use two different, especially

during testing to see which you like best in the

real world. But this indicator is simple and certainly

goes along with the ff bars type of mentality.

Test it out and see how it works for your trading
