I'm new to woodie but more has been explained in theses last few pages than I have seen before.

Once again Linuxser many thanksfor starting this excellent thread.

 

Thx Linuxser for this woodies indicator, I'm starting to study more carefull about all woodies stuff Do you also get some realiable version of the Choppy and Sidewinder indicators as per woodie's documents ?

This system looks really great. I was trying it for a while, but my problem is that I don't know when to exit. Should I wait for the CCI to go below the 200 line or 100 or 0 ??

Anybody can help me on that?

There are 2 types of exit strategies (according to Woodie):

One is a reversal of CCI or when it gets flat. Mostly it looks like a spike or you know... a flat .

Second exit is when the CCI crosses the +/- 100 line against your anticipated movement (So if you go short for example and at the start CCI is above 0 then when it crosses the -100 from below you have an exit signal).

To Linuxser:

I have been testing woodies CCI on TS and the colour of the up/down bars really changes after there is 6 of them printed on one side. Otherwise it keeps the color of the previous trend. (If you figured that out in some posts before, omit this. I read the whole thread using the fast train method LOL).

Little OT:

Do you have any results with trading WCCI on forex?

Personally im at 0 (profits cover losses) using 14 CCI and 6 TCCI on M15 trading basic patterns.
